David Adefeso and Tamar Braxton seemed like a happy couple on “Braxton Family Values.” However, their good days are now being overshadowed by the latest string of events. According to reports, both have accused each other of domestic violence. And David even filed for a domestic violence restraining order against Tamar.
With everything going on, Tamar’s supporters have been wanting to know how her family members feel about everything.
And recently, Towanda Braxton spoke out.
Towanda didn’t agree with David making accusations on social media.
During a recent interview with N’Style Atlanta, she was asked about the accusations David made on Instagram Live.
Towanda feels like the whole situation was unfortunate. And she understands that it may not be easy for everyone to get adjusted to dating someone who is in the public eye. However, she didn’t agree with how David handled things. And him making serious accusations about Tamar on Instagram didn’t sit well with her.
Towanda said, “It’s an unfortunate situation that escalated to something it shouldn’t have escalated to. I think that sometimes when you’re dating a person or when you’re seeing a person who’s not accustomed to certain things, they don’t know how to act or react. I would have never advised for him to go live, I would have tried to tell him to explore other options or avenues to try to handle the situation. But that was not the platform to do so. That’s my personal opinion.”
