Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant secured the seats next to Andy Cohen.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans have been counting down to the day of the reunion. Hours ago, it was confirmed that the cast started filming it. And while many expected Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard to both secure the seats right next to Andy Cohen, it turns out that neither did.
Earlier today, Andy took to Instagram to give updates to fans of the show.
In a video, he said, “I’m not gonna show them to you, but I’ve got a Grande Dame to my right, and a Gizelle to the left.”

Apparently, Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger may have been the ladies to secure the most coveted seats next to Andy. And some fans were shocked by this considering the altercation has been such a hot topic.
The reunion is expected to be explosive.
Interestingly enough, Karen and Gizelle have been clashing a lot during the current season. Karen has had a lot to say about Gizelle reconciling with Jamal Bryant. On the recent episode, Karen questioned Gizelle about Jamal not being around the group.
Gizelle said that Jamal was too “booked and busy” to hang around but Karen wasn’t buying this. And neither was Robyn Dixon, who surprisingly pointed out that all the other women have no problem bringing their men around. So she can’t understand why Gizelle hasn’t done the same.
Karen also called Gizelle out for the comments she made about Cynthia Bailey’s wedding. According to Karen, Cynthia wasn’t happy that Gizelle said she didn’t feel all that safe because people took off their masks.
With there being more episodes left in season 5, one can imagine that we’ll see more of Karen and Gizelle’s tension play out. And Karen made it clear that she’s coming for Gizelle at the reunion.

Yeah they did Candiace and Monique dirty. But I see Andy’s favorite is Gizelle. So she’s always going to sit next to him. I’m not mad about Karen since she’s been delivering this season. But Candiace and Monique deserved the first chairs.

Gizelle ain’t did sh-t all season but evade questions about Jamal and hate on Monique (as usual). Sis ain’t had an actual storyline in years, yet Andy keeps sitting her next to him at the reunions.

Andy has made up in his mind that Gizelle will always get the first chair beside him. So there’s that. I’m surprised about Karen but she has been very funny and on point this season. I think you’ll have Karen, Monique, and Ashley on one side. And Gizelle, Candiace, Robyn, and Wendy on the other.

Honestly, I am not surprised. Andy feels like Gizelle and Karen are the faces of the show. The only reason Karen didn’t get the first season last season was because last season was really all about Michael so Ashley had to sit next to him. Her and Michael were both in the hot seat. Other than that, Karen and Gizelle will probably be sitting next to Andy moving forward.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think Candiace and Monique carried the season. The fight happened but a lot more happened after that. Honestly, everyone brought it this season, even Wendy. So it shouldn’t matter who sat beside Andy. Everyone contributed which makes this show great. They all carried the season.

I really hope that someone brings up the homophobic and trans comments that Candiace has spewed lately. Also what she and Chris said about the blogger that died should also be addressed.

Giselle is a hater. She spills secrets and stabs people in the back and then acts like she didn’t have anything to do with the fallout. Would love to see her OFF the show. She and Jamal deserve each other. (Even her daughters don’t want a reconciliation).
