The Braxtons arrive in St. Louis.

The episode begins with the bride Trina arriving for breakfast with Evelyn and her sisters in St. Louis. Tamar speaks up about not knowing the itinerary for the wedding. Trina insists she sent it to her but will do it again. None of the sisters are in the wedding but Logan will be involved. Tamar then brings up how the bachelorette party was rather vulgar. In fact, Tamar insists on throwing a wholesome night out for the bride.

Trina’s mood sours when she gets a call about her cake. The cake was supposed to look like a magnificent peacock. However, the cake looked far from what Trina envisioned.

Later that night, Tamar’s do-over begins and all the sisters are having a slumber party. All the girls are in an onesie, except Tamar. She’s dressed for baptism and the sacramental wine is on display. Tamar then jokingly splashes Towanda with “holy water” and everyone gets a good chuckle.

Next, Toni’s surprised to learn their dad wants to sing at the wedding. The wedding cake comes up during the slumber party and Trina shows off the first version of the hideous cake and Tamar leads a prayer.

Frustrations continue.

It’s the day before the wedding and Trina’s at the rehearsal with Von. Michael Sr. showed up however, Michael Jr and Logan aren’t present. Between this and the rehearsal not going well, Trina is short-fused. Judge Mabelean, who is officiating the wedding, is present. As the rehearsal goes on, Trina’s mood gets better, until they see the cake. The second version of the peacock cake arrived damaged which angers Trina and Von.

Later on, Toni arrives at Trina’s room for Trina’s final dress fitting. Toni’s in tears when sees Trina in her wedding dress. She absolutely loves it and this warms Trina’s heart. Later on, Trina lets them know about the eventful rehearsal. Logan didn’t make it because Tamar didn’t know about it apparently. She also shows off the damaged cake to Toni which shocks her. Toni says it’s the worst cake she’s ever seen. She will work with Tamar to fix the cake. When Toni leaves Trina’s room, she immediately calls Tamar and springs into action.

Tamar and Toni come through for Trina.

Tamar and Toni meet with Paul, the pastry chef to talk about a new cake. During the meeting, Tamar says this cake was as unorganized and messy as the bachelorette party. She also says they are at the wedding because of Napa Valley. It was her birthday where Von proposed, after-all.

Meanwhile, it’s a short turnaround but Paul, Tamar, and Toni agree on a last-minute cake, and Toni’s impressed with the low price he charged.

Later on, everyone got together for a family dinner. Von gives a toast to everyone during the dinner, saying it’s an honor to be welcomed into the Braxton family. Trina notes that Miss Wanda didn’t show up to the dinner but she knows there won’t be an issue between Wanda and Evelyn.

Evelyn claims victory over Miss Wanda.

It’s the day of the wedding. And it’s currently snowing. Towanda’s going to help Trina the best she can to make sure things run on time. Trina learns that the seating arrangements are lacking. This means there’s a chance Michael Sr will be sitting with Miss Wanda and Evelyn.

Trina’s happy that the sisters are getting along and the cake was successfully replaced by Tamar and Toni. As the wedding is about to start, the sisters show up and Tamar realizes there are some reserved seats. This sends Towanda into hyperdrive in an effort to keep Wanda and Evelyn separate.

Despite Towanda’s best efforts, Evelyn and Miss Wanda weren’t separated. However, Traci is there with Kevin fortunately. Eventually, they get Evelyn moved. In a green screen interview, Evelyn says she noticed that Wanda didn’t look too happy despite ending up with Michael Sr. And she realized then that she was actually the victorious one in the situation, not Wanda.

It’s 30 minutes late and Trina’s getting angry. But eventually, things get started and her sisters are carrying Trina’s train as she starts down the aisle with Michael Sr. by her side.

However, things get off to a rocky start when Traci trips.
