Karen and Wendy continue to clash.

Well, it looks like the tension between Karen Huger and Wendy Osefo continues. On the latest episode, Wendy attempted to call Karen out for the comments she made about her four degrees. After Karen told Wendy that she sounded ignorant in regards to her attempt to pressure Karen into backing away from Monique Samuels, Wendy was truly insulted.

She proceeded to tell Karen that it’s a big deal for a black woman to have a PhD. She also took a shot at Karen for not having a degree.

In response to this, Karen told Wendy that she doesn’t need degrees because she’s successful. And one thing Wendy cant buy is common sense.

Minutes later, Karen would make everyone laugh with her imitation of Wendy’s “slithering” walk. This was the walk Wendy did down the stairs before she interjected herself into Candiace Dillard’s conversation with Karen about Monique.

At this point, Wendy thinks Karen should just shut up.

Wendy is still feeling some type of way about that moment. So she had more to say about it during the After Show. While talking to Candiace about it, Wendy said, “I operate from a very authentic sense. Who I am, what I say I am is who I am. Clearly, Karen has a struggle, internal struggle, because she doesn’t know who she is or what she is. If you’re going to attack me, then do not attack me over something people from our color have fought for generations to achieve which is education.”

She continued, “So if you’re going to pick on me, pick on something else. Pick on my hair, pick on my clothes, pick on my makeup. But if you pick on my educational attainment, then you are laughing in the face of our ancestors. So do us all a favor and shut the f*ck up.”
