Charmaine has had a lot of drama on “Black Ink Crew Chicago.”

Black Ink Crew Chicago” star Charmaine has had plenty of controversial moments on the show. In fact, the first time mother was accused of “orally pleasing” Van while they were in Vegas. After word got back to Charmaine about what was being alleged, she was heated. She denied it profusely. And it later came out that Don had something to do with the rumor spreading. He would then say it was Van who told him the situation happened.

On the previous season, Van denied telling Don this. He apologized to Charmaine and placed the blame on Don. So when Don and Van saw each other again, it got heated. At this point, it’s clear that Van probably won’t be able to salvage his friendships with Don, Phor, and Ryan.

As for Charmaine, her husband Neek later accused Big Fish Entertainment of making up the rumor out of spite. He said they did so after he refused to break up with Charmaine or marry her for a storyline.

Charmaine receives criticism on social media.

Since the pandemic hit, new episodes of “Black Ink Crew Chicago” haven’t been airing. However, Charmaine has still managed to get caught up in some controversies.

Months ago, people called her out on social media for participating in a TikTok challenge. In the challenge, parents splashed water on their kids. While it was supposed to be a joke and harmless, people were outraged to see Baby Nola get splashed in the face.

So they dragged Charmaine over this. She would later issue a public apology and reveal her father was upset about the situation as well. Charmaine even said that her father didn’t want to talk to her for a while as a result of the video.

Recently, someone came for Charmaine’s parenting, again, on social media. After Charmaine posted a cute video of Baby Nola attempting to walk, an Instagram user was more focused on what Nola was wearing. They didn’t like that she had on blue. So they told Charmaine that she needed to be wearing pink and have some bows put in her hair.

As a result of this, Charmaine responded. And she made it clear that she wasn’t okay with someone telling her how to dress her daughter.

Now Charmaine is responding to criticism of her weight.

The “Black Ink Crew Chicago” star decided to address her critics in an Instagram post. In the caption, she wrote, “She aged 20 years. She gained weight. Excuse me but I’m getting paid.”

Charmaine’s husband Neek commented on the post.

He wrote, “zero complaints. my dream girl turned into my wife.”

And in response to this, Charmaine wrote, “@neekbey you are everything plus more of what I ever thought my husband would be!!!”
