Porsha Williams opened up about her childhood.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has been pretty open about her life since her start on the show. This is one of the reasons why she has a lot of supporters. And on the recent episode, she shared even more about her upbringing.
Porsha talked about the fact that she and her sister Lauren Williams have different mothers. After Porsha’s parents divorced, their father went on to marry Lauren’s mom. And while many may have anticipated drama, there wasn’t any. So Porsha and Lauren’s mothers are actually very close.
While discussing this with Lauren and Diane, Porsha said, “I feel like a lot of kids think divorce is traumatizing. But I think y’all did a really good job to be able to go back and forth. I don’t really identify with daddy issues.”
Some comments on social media haven’t been nice.
Porsha went on to say that what made things difficult for her later in life was not having her father around to help her avoid abusive relationships. With her dad dying before she became an adult, Porsha didn’t have him present to get advice about men.
She also got emotional about the fact that she didn’t live with her father after the divorce. Lauren did, so they had different experiences.
While Porsha intended for the scene to be a positive one, apparently, some viewers have made negative comments on social media. And Porsha clapped back, too.

I’m pretty sure the person who made those comments was a deranged Kenya stan. Some of them take things way too far. It’s just a TV show. Leave these people alone.

Another reminder that stan culture is toxic.

Very. I’ve discussed that plenty on here. It would be great if we could enjoy our shows without the stan sh-t.

Kenya stans are something else. Y’all don’t like someone because she don’t like them. Get y’all lives. Half of y’all probably grown. Act like it.

I love the bond Porsha has with her sister, mother, and stepmom.

It’s either Kenya or her stans.

Happy Founders Day, Amanda. May we have another 108 years of sisterhood.

Not people doing the most over a boring season. Haters are out here making up lies and drama out of boredom I guess. That scene was cute though. Nothing like a strong family bond.
