Kenya and Cynthia clash a little bit over the wedding.

Cynthia, Kenya, and Mal meet at a yoga studio for a session. After they take a break, they discuss the stress Cynthia has been feeling about the wedding. She’s not really sure their wedding date of 10/10/20 will actually work. Kenya then accuses her of not wanting to keep that date so the wedding can be filmed for the show.

In a green screen interview, Cynthia says it’s insulting that Kenya thinks this is about the show for her.

They argue and Cynthia says she’s not committed to the date, she’s committed to the man. But she understands that Mike is not feeling like it’s about him and Cynthia says she will let him know she will do whatever necessary to marry him.

Kenya stresses that she’s not trying to upset Cynthia or hurt their friendship. She just wants to be honest and be a good friend.

Kenya shades Porsha’s activism.

Kandi and Kenya meet up for a bite to eat. After nearly spoiling Cynthia’s proposal, Kenya wants to throw her a surprise engagement party. She wants Kandi to act like she’s planning it and send out all the invitations because she’s not on the best terms with everyone.

They discuss Porsha and Kenya says she knows Porsha was “arrested again.” She says that it doesn’t seem like Porsha and others who are protesting are doing it the right way. She hasn’t seen them wearing masks. In a green screen interview, Kandi says what Porsha is doing is great and should be praised no matter how she’s doing it.

Ralph opens up about his childhood.

Drew and Ralph have a counseling session at home. In a green screen interview, she says she appreciates how Ralph bonded with her three-year-old son when they got together. He says he needs respect and sex at least three times a week to be happy. Ralph also feels like she emasculates him because her mom did this to her dad. But Drew says she doesn’t. And she understands that he’s not her father and she had to have different expectations.

At this point, Ralph accuses her of looking like she is about to cry.

They move on and Ralph talks about his childhood. His dad left while he was at a really young age. He later had issues with his mother and he told her he was leaving to live with his dad when they weren’t getting along. After he left, she was evicted. And she ended up apologizing to him.

Drew feels like Ralph hasn’t dealt with his past issues. And that has made their marriage difficult. She breaks down in tears and he consoles her. He also apologizes to her and says he wants to show her more support. In a green screen interview, Drew says she needs Ralph to back up his words with actions.

An event for Porsha makes things awkward.

Lauren calls the ladies with the exception of Kenya to tell them she’s planning an event at Porsha’s house to celebrate her activism. She doesn’t extend an invitation to Kenya but she tells Cynthia she can bring Kenya as a “plus one” as long as she has good intentions.

Later on, Cynthia tells Kenya about this. Kenya says she needs to get a party thrown to celebrate all the stuff she’s doing too. But she says she will show up with Cynthia briefly to show support.

While Drew and Ralph have been trying to work out their problems, Ralph’s dad dies from a heart attack. So they have to get ready to attend his funeral.

Lauren changes her mind.

As Kenya gets ready for Lauren’s event for Porsha, she gets a FaceTime call from Cynthia. She tells Cynthia she bought Porsha’s daughter a Rosa Parks doll for her birthday. However, her mood is soured after Cynthia tells her that Lauren doesn’t want Kenya there. She’s afraid Kenya could ruin the mood.

Frustrated, Kenya asks producers if they knew about this. They say they didn’t and she demands someone pays for her hair and makeup.

Kenya calls Kandi and tells her what happened. She then says that the party is fake and self-serving anyway. And she accuses Porsha of wanting to get arrested at a protest on camera. Regardless, she’ll still make sure PJ gets the doll.

When everyone makes it to Porsha’s house, LaToya gets to know Falynn. She says she could tell Falynn married an older man with money. She just gives off those vibes. In a green screen interview, Kandi says that LaToya is Kenya on steroids.

At this point, Porsha is good on Kenya.

Porsha gets emotional when the women thank her for protesting and have photos posted up of her with her grandfather, civil right activist Hosea Williams.

In a green screen interview, she says it’s weird to be celebrated for her activism because she was just doing it from her heart. But she appreciates the support the women are giving her.

She also says that she tried to move forward with Kenya last season but it didn’t work out. So she’s “meh” now about Kenya.
