The ladies are divided.
Cece Gutierrez isn’t returning for the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives.” However, there is a lot of unresolved drama that is expected to be addressed during season 9. OG and Evelyn Lozada aren’t in a good place. After OG accused Evelyn of racism, she responded by suing OG for defamation. And OG countersued for emotional distress. So when it was rumored that two cast members were refusing to film with each other for the upcoming season, many fans of the show assumed that Evelyn and OG are the ones making the demands.
Jennifer Williams is back for another season. And now she’s not getting along with Evelyn, Malaysia Pargo, and Shaunie O’Neal.
Jackie and Malaysia fell out over rumors last season. After Jackie told the group that someone told her people were gossiping about Malaysia’s parenting in Atlanta, they nearly came to blows.
So by the end of the season, the cast was divided.
Evelyn, Shaunie, Feby, and Malaysia were on one side. And Jennifer, Cece, OG, and Jackie were on another.
Can they bring it all back together?
On a preview for season 9, a few of the women wonder how they can pick up the pieces and unify the group.
Evelyn thinks some time at a mansion could do it.
Meanwhile, Jackie urges OG and Jennifer to let the past issues go, “Let’s just put that sh*t behind us and stop the nonsense.”
As for Jennifer, she’s over it all. She says, “I’m not taking no sh*t.”
Season 9 of “Basketball Wives” premieres Tuesday, February 9 at 8/7c. Cece is the only castmember who walked away. And Lamar Odom’s ex Liza Morales has joined the cast.

I just don’t understand why so many black women are on these reality tv shows that just make them look like fools, hood and nothing for a young black girl today to see as being good. Cancel this stupid show already these women are embarrassing except I really didn’t see a problem with OG!

No more RH for me. The dramas on BW may seem interesting at best. If they mend, it better be on some real stuff. Jackie needs to keep her rumor mill shut meaning her mouth. OG needs to stop using Chad and the racism card to jab at Evelyn. Evelyn need not entertain OG. They can be civil 🤔🤨.
