A video has people calling out LaToya Ali.

LaToya Ali has already expressed that she’s not so sure she wants to return for another season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Just one season in and the newbie is already having her share of controversy. Some fans of the show have accused her of being a mean girl towards fellow rookies Drew Sidora and Falynn Guobadia. She’s had a lot to say about Drew’s wig. And she told Falynn that she looked like the type who would marry an older man who has a lot of money.

In Falynn’s recent clap back on social media, she accused LaToya of being a colorist. And she said that her husband Simon Guobadia has “big lips too.”

Falynn’s comments were in reference to an old video from LaToya that has resurfaced on social media. In the clip, LaToya had a lot to say about a woman she wasn’t fond of. And her descriptions of the woman didn’t sit well with some people.

LaToya said, “This girl is super ghetto. She has huge Donkey Kong lips. Y’all close your eyes. Just imagine a face with two pillowcases as lips going like this. Now open your eyes.”

She continued, “She wore single braids, and every time she would swing her hair, a braid would fall out. You see that braid that’s just lingering around your neighborhood? Yeah, it’s probably her.”

Drew Sidora isn’t feeling LaToya Ali’s apology.

LaToya apologized earlier today. She wrote, “First and foremost I would like to apologize for the triggering language that I used in a video clip that resurfaced from 7 years ago. Despite the fact that my intent was not to cause harm or to offend black women, I did just that. I am a proud black woman and I think all black women are valid and beautiful. I was ignorant to the fact that my words were perpetuating inherent biases and anti-blackness that we as black people deal with every day.”

She continued, “With that being said, ignorance is not an excuse. I have learned and grown exponentially since then, particularly within the last year. Those words do not reflect the woman I am today, and again I am truly and sincerely apologetic for the hurt that I have caused.”

Well, one person who wasn’t moved by the apology is Drew.

In tweets, she wrote, “A leopard doesn’t change its spots. You should not come for a culture and make fun of our lips and try to apologize and save your brand…”
