Blue calls Ralph Angel and Darla to tell them about his first day of school. He says it was amazing and he loves everything about the school. Although he can’t wait to see them during the holidays, he’s really happy there. When he hangs up, they realize he’s going to be okay.

Back in the park, Charley and Davis are talking about their relationship. He apologizes for all of the things he did in their marriage. Charley then opens up about wanting to be with Davis on the road, comparing it to wanting to be with her father. She then demands to know why he did all of these things to mess up their marriage. This causes Davis to break down as he says he feels guilt and realized he was a broken person who wasn’t happy with himself. He called himself the monster inside his fortress. But he isn’t that person anymore.

Charley wants to know if that’s really him now and Davis passionately says he is that person and he’s willing to be that person for her if she lets him. He then holds out his hand and after a brief moment, Charley takes his hand.

Calvin turns himself in and Darla’s pregnant.

Meanwhile, Micah made it home and he’s talking to Davis. Micah thanks Davis for taking care of Charley. Charley walks in and Micah understands why Charley didn’t tell him she was sick sooner.
