Porsha Williams isn’t leaving television completely.

There have been a lot of rumors about the season 14 cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” But now those who are departing are beginning to make their announcements on social media. Days ago, Cynthia Bailey confirmed she is not returning. This comes months after she admitted that she didn’t receive a contract. Some speculated Cynthia could just be demoted to a friend of the show. However, NeNe Leakes said that she believed that Cynthia’s time on the show was coming to an end.

As for Porsha Williams, it was reported she did receive a contract. However, she wasn’t sure about signing it. And this is due to the fact that there was some backlash surrounding her engagement to Simon Guobadia. While the couple denies they were together when Simon was still with Falynn Guobadia, some people doubted this. It was rumored that Porsha didn’t want anyone to come for her engagement on the show.

Well, Porsha has now confirmed that she is leaving.

In an Instagram post, she wrote, “After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter. Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise.” She continued, “This was a difficult decision to not only make but also come to terms with. It’s one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it’s the right one.”

Porsha went on to tell her supporters that she will “be back on TV very soon.” We’re assuming this is a hint at her upcoming spinoff.

Andy Cohen responded to the post with, “What a run. What an evolution. As we discussed, I’m gonna go ahead and consider this more of a PAUSE than a goodbye.”
