Draya believes colorism is an issue for her.

While Charmaine is away from the shop, Draya returns to pack up her things. She cries and says she feels like she was disrespected. Her biggest issue was the booth rent because she preferred to pay a percentage of what she made from clients instead. Prince reminds her that Charmaine can do things the way she wants because it’s her shop. And Draya says she’s actually a victim of colorism because no one stood up for her. She also says black women are never protected.

So she will go to the convention herself and focus on her own thing.

Ryan reminds Charmaine of how she used to be.

Charmaine catches up with Ryan a day before the convention. Ryan jokes that things went left the last time they were at a convention together. And back then, Charmaine wasn’t all that focused on handling her business. Things were tough for Ryan at that time because his employees just couldn’t get it together or attend a convention without causing drama.

Phor is getting adjusted to being a new dad. And co-parenting with Nina has been going smoothly. Don, Phor, Ryan, and Charmaine all can’t believe they are all parents now.

Charmaine recaps what went down at 2nd City Ink recently. Since Draya did pay for her spot, she’s not going to block her from attending the convention. She brings up Miss Kitty and says that Kitty hasn’t done anything as a Brand Manager. And the way she blew up on her is unforgivable. Ryan laughs and says that Kitty is just behaving how Charmaine used to back in the day at 9 Mag. So he’s happy she sees now what he went through earlier into his days as an entrepreneur.

Regardless, he’s proud that so many people of color will be at the convention because the industry wasn’t always diverse.

Charmaine and Draya clash, again.

When Draya arrives, she’s upset to learn she won’t get three passes even though she paid for a whole booth. Charmaine wanted Draya to only be a guest artist since she no longer works at 2nd City Ink. So now Prince doesn’t have any room at the booth since Draya has decided to take most of it for herself. An argument ensues between Charmaine and Draya. Luckily, Draya is able to get all three passes and Charmaine says they won’t have to interact ever again.

Kitty arrives and Draya gives her an update. They have more drama with the passes. They are told they can’t come back inside the convention because all their passes were already stamped by Charmaine. And this annoys both women. Kitty pays $80 so they can reenter the convention.

Don tells Ryan that Draya took up most of the 2nd City booth with Kitty. Ryan says this was a shady move by Draya. So he helps out Charmaine and gives her the space she needs for Prince and another artist.

Now Prince is frustrated.

Steven shows up at the convention after Kitty invited him. He sits at Draya’s portion of the booth. Charmaine speaks to him but says in a green screen interview that she’s sure Draya and Kitty set this up from day one. And they wanted to make a fool out of her.

Prince is irritated that he has to tattoo at the 9 Mag booth because Kitty and Draya took up so much room. And Prince has to give Ryan half of what he earns tattooing that day as a result.

Chaos ensues.

Ceaser arrives at the convention and Kitty is annoyed that he didn’t speak to her. But he does speak to Charmaine, Ryan, and Don. Charmaine tells Ceaser how Draya and Kitty came to take over the 2nd City Ink booth. When Charmaine asks if Kitty actually did work as Brand Manager in New York, Ceaser says she wasn’t working “that skill.” Laughter erupts. Kitty watches from a distance and becomes angry about what’s being said. And she wonders if Charmaine was ever her friend.

Kitty starts yelling to Steven and others nearby that she will smack somebody. Charmaine is irritated and tells Ryan that Kitty needs to simmer down with her ghetto energy.

And Kitty is now really upset that Charmaine and Ryan continue to ignore her. They take a photo together as she continues to loudly make threats.

Remi, a co-executive producer, tries to calm Kitty down and tell her it’s not a good look how she’s behaving. Kitty then says, “Big DC in this b*tch!” And “Can’t nobody fight me!”

Ryan says that Kitty’s behavior is the drama he was trying to avoid. And Kitty storms out the convention but not before saying, “F*ck Charmaine and Ryan!”
