Things moved really fast for Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia.

Porsha Williams had a lot of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans talking about her engagement on social media. According to Porsha, they got engaged in a month. But her sister Lauren Williams said that Simon Guobadia actually proposed in two weeks. While it does appear that the romance has been moving very fast, Porsha believes that Simon is the one for her.

During an interview with People Magazine, Porsha explained why she fell in love with Simon.

“The reason why I fell in love with Simon is because this man knows what he wants.”

She continued, “I have always dated like any other woman. Looked in the eyes of men who told me different things. But when you meet a man and you’re looking in his eyes and you know he knows what he wants and he’s telling you he wants it with you, and you know that he wants to know you, love you…care for you in a way that you have never felt before, then you’re going to respond to that in kind.”

Porsha went on to say that their spark was “immediate.” And it has been an electric romance. “When we met in a romantic way, it was just electric.”

Dennis McKinley and Simon Guobadia have been clashing.

Although Porsha has found happiness with Simon, she did confirm the romance has caused co-parenting issues with Dennis McKinley.

“Listen, I would have to say, prior to this summer, we were like perfect ideal co-parents. But of course, when you are trying to blend a family, and now we have Simon and our household then Dennis has his household, it can be difficult. And it has been difficult. But back to keeping PJ first is what we’re trying to focus on. And we’re trying to remind each other that on a daily basis.”

Regardless, Porsha is hoping that things get better down the road.

“I’m sure it will all cool and calm down a little bit later when everybody gets used to the situation. But right now it’s a little rollercoaster.”
