The cast speaks regarding their feelings about the show.

Part one of the reunion with Carlos King introduces the reunion cast to the set and Martell and Melody sit closest to Carlos with Carlos in the center.

Once the reunion begins, Carlos dives right in with clips from all 3 seasons, telling the story of each couple until now. This includes the divorce. He asks them each how it felt to look back at where they came from to where they are now.

Carlos then pivots, bringing up how the show affected each of them. Next, Carlos asks Melody and Martell if they have any regrets about pitching the show and ultimately being on the cast. While Melody has no regrets, Martell does. This leads to Martell saying he helped bring out the Melody Holt brand and he did the show for her. He specifically regrets how his cheating was showcased on the show, saying that it should’ve been private. In fact, Martell says he would still be married to Melody if it wasn’t for the show.

He then says he’s the most hated person on the cast. Marsau interjects and jokingly says Martell’s the second-most hated. This leads Carlos to ask about Marsau’s disdain of the title change of the show. He brings up how he believed the show was going to be a construction show. They all knew the show was changing and Maurice and Kimmi bring up how they were expecting a major pivot. Maurice also says it showcased how he and all of them were able to showcase their work and successes.

Kimmi calls out Marsau and Martell for laughing at the side chick allegations.

Interestingly enough, Carlos then brings up the side chick allegations and Maurice that it was an impossibility. Carlos brings up Martell heard this from Marsau about Kimmi being a side chick. Marsau says Martell was lying. Kimmi then brings up how Martell and Marsau laughed about it during their trip to Las Vegas.

Next, Carlos asks LaTisha if she heard about this and LaTisha brings up Kiwuha telling her. This angers Kimmi who reiterates she was not dating Maurice until the divorce was finalized. She also expresses frustration with everyone running with it. But Carlos really wants Maurice to clarify the timeline. Maurice says he didn’t have relations with Kiwuha once he filed and she did something unforgivable.

Luckily, both Kimmi and Maurice say all is now good with Kiwuha and Kimmi even called her, warning her that the topic will be coming up at the reunion.

Martell says he’s not a cheater.

For the next segment, Carlos dives into Melody and Martell’s divorce. They first begin with flashbacks of their relationship falling apart and Melody filing for divorce. Of course, they showed multiple arguments between Martell and Melody.

Melody calls the clips real moments and all “b.s.” specifically, Martell contradicts himself, saying he’s not a cheater. This leads Carlos to go through the timeline between the last reunion through the end of the season.

Melody explains that Martell was constantly leaving the house during the beginning of the pandemic. Martell dances around the fact he was sleeping with his mistress during this timeline. This leads Carlos to scold him for not keeping his p*nis in his pants. However, Martell denies getting her pregnant. Carlos tries to get Martell to prove this and Martell avoids the answer.

Melody talks about how she found out about Martell’s mistress.

Next, Melody speaks about Martell how he seemingly didn’t change, even after giving birth to Milani. That conversation led her to leave her marriage. She then says how she first found out about the mistress back in March of 2017 and speaks to a situation where the mistress and Melody spoke on the phone, calling the conversation disrespectful.

Carlos then pivots, bringing up how Martell accused Marsau of messing around with Melody. Martell explains how Marsau contacted Melody after Miss Vanessa talked to him about a blow-up between the Holts regarding the phone call in 2017. Marsau explained he was simply a mediator between them.

Yet, Martell was hung up on Marsau inviting Melody out for drinks insinuating he was “dirty macking.” Marsau denies all of this and Melody calls this sad that Martell was deflecting in light of her storming out of the house after an argument with Martell about his mistress calling. She met with Marsau at a Chik-Fil-A and he never flirted with her.

Melody makes a stunning clarification.

Martell then says Melody moved out and she started seeing someone else, performing f*llatio on another man. Melody immediately calls this inaccurate. But Martell says he has a recorded confession from Melody about him. Carlos then asks Melody if she slept with another man while she was married. She says no. Carlos then asks if she slept with any other man before Milani was born and Melody says no which leaves Martell clearly agitated.

Martell then asks if she performed f*llatio on a man. Melody gets real specific and says someone went down on her and she told him about it.

Martell sits up and reiterates he has the recording.

To clear it up, Carlos gets them to clarify the timeline and Melody confirms she moved out of their home in December 2017 while they were married. She also says she doesn’t remember if she performed any sexual acts on the man in question. Carlos tells Melody her answer is odd.

Martell’s silent when Carlos asks if he would’ve married his mistress.

Carlos then asks if Melody stayed with Martell because she was in competition with the mistress and Melody says no. Martell then reveals he never believed she would leave him. He even went to church and had the pastor pray with him. However, Martell claims his connection with his mistress kept him around.

Carlos then brings up the mistress’ coleslaw nickname and Martell calls her a pheasant. He calls her “the whole restaurant,” insinuating that Martell really has feelings for this woman. To confirm this, Carlos asks Martell if he met her first before Melody, would he be married to Arionne instead. Martell smiles but doesn’t answer the question.

Kimmi mutters under her breath that Martell’s silence is deafening.

  1. Carlos did not come to play ????

Melody cheated just like Martel said – they were not divorced when he had the oral transaction. Martel ain’t **it.

Kimmi was a side chick, that man was not divorced when they got together. A separation is not the same as a divorce.

    1. Semantics do not work here. Melody and Martell were broken up and living in different homes. She didn’t cheat on Martell. This asinine thinking is why simpletons are calling Kimmi a side chick. Just because the divorce wasn’t final doesn’t mean cheating occurred. And if Martell loves Arionne, why is he still not with her? Why is he still sleeping with multiple women now? You and Carlos have no clue what love is. Someone can have s-x with a person for a decade and never have loved them. Time doesn’t equate to love. Martell was with Melody over a decade and never loved her. He loves no one but himself. Black women need to understand the difference between lust (convenient s-x) and love. Self esteem is required to know the difference.

  2. This was truly some sadistic bullsh-t to watch. Arionne ain’t no restaurant. She’s a convenience store. Always open when he wants some. Martell wants a stable of concubines. He doesn’t love anyone but himself. Arionne would flourish in life if she would finally wake up and see it for what it is. They need to move on from this storyline. They are divorced now.

  3. Shannon…..you said a mouthful!!! I totally agree!!! Men aren’t wired like women…we think and feel with our hearts and they with their private parts…a man CAN be with a woman for years and NOT love her…..

  4. As long as people associate s-x and money/gifts with love, men like Martell will keep getting away with what they do. That man doesn’t love anybody. This show is so dark. Carlos didn’t mind hurting Melody for ratings I see. Despicable.

  5. D-mn Shannon now why did you have to go take the words out my mouth. You hit it on the nail with that comment.

  6. I agree with Shannon and others who have accurately stated that sleeping with someone for a few years doesn’t mean love is involved. Men will keep a woman around until she cuts them off. It’s not that Martell risked his family or lost his family over this woman, that was not his intention. He thought Melody would stay and he’d have both women.
