The episode begins in Miami at the Carnival. Uncle Luke is there and meets up with Cree for a chat. Cree lets Luke know about her altercation with JoJo’s daughter Sakoya. She lets Luke know she “blacked out” and Luke says he could relate. Despite this, Cree isn’t ready to tell him what triggered her; the comments Sakoya made regarding having babies.

Back in LA, Sakoya’s in the studio recording songs when Briana stops by to talk about what happened. Briana’s canvas was damaged and she’s still furious about what occurred. Sakoya says Savannah started it all and Sakoya was ready to apologize for what happened at the showcase last season. Later on, Briana offers to introduce Sakoya to Tee Tee and Vanessa. Sakoya wants to talk to Vanessa and get everything behind her.

Sam reveals the severity of his case.

Later on in Las Vegas, Sam’s training when Eric stops by. Sam takes a break for a serious conversation. He lets Eric know about what happened. Apparently, they were security with weapons and they jumped someone with them. Sam had a weapon on him too when police arrived and he was arrested. During the conversation, he says he’s facing four counts and the charges could result in 15 years of prison time for him. This seriously worries Eric because of Egypt. But Sam isn’t worried. He feels Egypt can hold herself down and can pursue her dreams.

Eric then brings up his kids and brings up how it can be in jail, being away from loved ones. But overall, Eric’s concerned that Sam got himself into major trouble.

Sakoya issues an olive branch to Vanessa.

Back in LA, Briana’s hosting Tee Tee and Vanessa for a night of aromatherapy. As they indulge in essential oils, Briana tells them she actually likes Sakoya. So much so she invited Sakoya to their event surprising Tee Tee and Vanessa. Vanessa feels uncomfortable but Sakoya wants to smooth things over. She explains what she really said about Angela dating her baby’s father and how things blew up at JoJo’s showcase. Vanessa encourages her to talk to Tanice.

Of course, Cree and Savannah come up and Sakoya feels she was bullied by them. In fact, she says they acted like the Gross sisters from “The Proud Family.” Interestingly enough, Sakoya wants to speak to Cree.

Back in New York, Shawn’s playing with the baby when Tee Tee gets home. Tee Tee shows him the invitation but doesn’t want much input on the invites. Their conversation turns serious about Tyran and his stance about getting vaccinated. Speaking of which, Tyran shows up and they make him stay in the backyard. He even has to use the bathroom behind the tree.

Despite this, Tyran stands firm in his decision not to get vaccinated. Their grandmother is adamant all guests must be vaccinated. So Tee Tee is doing all she can to get him there but this may not happen. But despite the plea, Tyran stands firm.

Cree and Sakoya sit down.

The next day, Cree’s back in LA anxiously waiting on Sakoya to show up for a sit-down. Eventually, Sakoya arrives and Cree immediately is regretful of her actions at Twist’s party. She explains what took her over the edge. During the conversation, colorism comes up.

Cree brings up comments Sakoya made about her and Savannah “hating on her” because “she’s pretty.” She feels as if it’s insensitive for a light-skinned woman to say this about dark-skinned women. Sakoya says she wasn’t speaking from a place of colorism. She also explains that her baby’s father dated Angela back in the day and didn’t want things to feel uncomfortable. Overall, Cree’s ready to squash the beef, and Sakoya agrees. But Sakoya is on edge with Savannah. However, she is ready to squash any tension between her and Tanice.

Sam gets honest about what’s he’s facing with Egypt and Pepa.

Back in Vegas, Egypt and Sam are spending time with Pepa. Sam’s been getting plenty of bad news about his case. He got news from his attorney about the case and it wasn’t good. This leads Sam to open up about just what he’s facing. He tells Egypt and Pepa about the charges and how he is facing up to 15 years in prison. This overwhelms Egypt who can’t be without Sam that long. But she’s going to stay loyal to Sam through it all.

But Pepa feels differently. Pepa reiterates that she told Sam to stop getting into these altercations with his detractors. She’s also feeling the weight of what happened. Interestingly enough, Sam tells Pepa to make sure Egypt doesn’t wait on him if he gets locked up. This shocks Pepa.
