Antoinette gives Lateshia a piece of her mind, and Lateshia kicks her out of the Collective group circle.
The latest episode of “Belle Collective” continues with Lateshia’s group meeting. She manages to get Latrice and Marie to stay calm. At this point, Lateshia invites the ladies to a couple’s trip to New Orleans. Antoinette is then given the floor to speak and calls Lateshia fake. This causes an argument, and Lateshia kicks her out of the event. A scuffle between Lateshia, a producer, and Antoinette occurs when the producer gets Antoinette to leave.
When things calm down, Marie and Tambra talk out their issues. As they talk, Marie explains to Tambra why she and Lateshia talked to her ex last season. Marie and Tambra squash their issues.
Marie tearfully reveals her home was shot up.
In the next scene, Marie stops by Lateshia’s home. Lateshia compliments her look, but Marie isn’t seemingly receptive. Marie opens up about why she’s glum. She reveals that while she was on her way home, two men shot dozens of bullets into her home. Luckily, no one was at the residence. Marie was visibly shaken as she recounted what happened to Lateshia. Lateshia and Glen, who joined them later on, are floored. The shooting was caught on camera. Marie opens up about constantly feeling under attack as Glen and Lateshia listen on.
SoGucci has a deep conversation with her daughter Dee, and Marie provides support.
Meanwhile, SoGucci’s daughter Dee visits SoGucci and JJ at their home. During their talk, Dee opens up about her postpartum depression and co-parenting. JJ and SoGucci console Dee and suggest therapy to cope. But Dee says the counseling wasn’t helping.
The conversations turn to Selena and her daughters. Dee says she and JJ’s daughters understand the situation their moms had. SoGucci feels it is her job to reconnect JJ with his daughters. But JJ will not move forward with them until he’s ready to move forward with them. Dee agrees with how JJ feels, saying it might be too soon for everyone to talk and mend their issues.
The next day, SoGucci hosts Lateshia, Marie, and Tambra, and they talk about Dee. SoGucci explains the severity of what Dee was going through. This includes when they had to call the police to search for Dee. As they talk, Marie reveals what happened to her home to demonstrate that no day is promised. The ladies are shocked to hear Marie’s story.
When Dee joins them, Marie embraces Dee and tells her to call her if she needs to talk. She tells Dee that she’s not alone in what she’s going through.
Cliff speaks to Lateshia on Glen’s behalf.
Lastly, Cliff stops by Lateshia’s office to talk to her on Glen’s behalf. They talk about Glen quitting his job. During their conversation, Cliff reveals that Glen purchased a box truck in an effort to start his own trucking business. This news further shocks Lateshia, who is still frustrated that they no longer have health insurance.
Cliff jokes in his green screen interview that he’s never speaking out for Glen again.
What are your thoughts about the episode?
When did Glenn quit his job for real, you usually have insurance for at least 30 days afterwards and you get the option to keep it as long as you pay for it. Glenn is such a lame that’s why he didn’t discuss it
with her, he didn’t want to be talked out of it Now sending Mush Mouth to talk to his wife, what a dork
the two’s of them.
Marie’s bad karma is showing. Marie had no business even talking to Tambra’s ex it had nothing to do with the Collective. JJ is more immature than a 10 year old.
HARD AGREE. Marie just keeps coming with the lame excuses for her grimy behavior. When she told Tambra that she was offended that Tambra hadn’t already told Marie about her crappy ex, and THAT was why Marie went and talked to him, it reminded me of Destiny’s explanation on the girls trip, for claiming that Ms Van pimped out Mel, on LAMH. Lame, convoluted bullsh_t.
Antoinette is correct Leteashia is fake. She’s good as long as things go her way. She always allows Marie to attack the others, while throwing rocks and hiding her hands pretending to be innocent.
Totally agree. I have a sneaking suspicion that Marie has helped fund Lateisha’s endeavors, funding that Lateisha wouldn’t be able to do anything without. Because her tolerance of Marie’s very bad behavior, while NOT tolerating other’s, just makes no sense.
