NeNe Leakes wedding planner drama? NeNe Leakes may be the head honcho of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” series, but that doesn’t mean she’s immune to lawsuits. NeNe just married her husband Gregg Leakes for a second time after divorcing him reportedly as a result of cheating. Although their second try at the union landed them a show with Bravo, “I Dream of NeNe,” it looks like the Leakes have new drama to worry about just several weeks after their second take at vows. According to TMZ, NeNe is being sued by a wedding planner who claims the reality star and actress didn’t pay her for her services rendered. TMZ reports:
The woman going after Leakes is Tiffany Cook — who claims NeNe hired Dream Design Weddings to coordinate the party for her marriage to Gregg Leakes on June 22, 2013 … a wedding that will featured on a Bravo TV special in September.
In her suit, filed in Georgia, Cook claims Leakes promised to pay her 15% of the entire wedding budget PLUS fees design and execution of the wedding PLUS travel expenses to the event.
In total, Cook claims NeNe’s budget for the wedding was $1.8 MILLION!!!!!!!!! And Cook claims she was due $270k (the 15%) PLUS another $889,900 (design fees) PLUS $1,750 (4 coach tickets from Florida to Georgia).
Cook claims NeNe did fork over the initial down payment ($18,750) … but she hasn’t seen a penny since — and is suing for the remaining $1,142,900 balance … PLUS damages.
In total, Cook — who also put together Kordell Stewart’s wedding to Porsha — wants more than $2.5 MILLION for her troubles.
NeNe denies she owes the woman any money and her rep tells TMZ she actually used the services of a completely different wedding planner (Tony Conway) and Ms. Cook is just looking for “15 minutes of fame.” NeNe even took to her Twitter account and said she paid in cash on camera for Tony’s services and the world will be able to see it for themselves when “I Dream of NeNe” premieres this fall on Bravo.
LOL. But I thought she was very rich?

IDK I think NeNe has some money! She does act now. Is she very rich, no, but she’s doing better than everyone else on the show except Kandi.
I’m starting to think these reality stars don’t make a whole lot of money. Kenya can’t half pay her bills, Sheree was broke while she was on the show, Porsha wants all of Kordell’s money, and Phaedra is always trying to make a buck like she doesn’t have one. What gives?
They don’t make that much money. As cheap as these shows are to make, there’s no way these networks are going to pay them the salary a REAL actor would get. No way. That’s why you always here about them being broke. a lot of the times the network will even pay for the houses because they don’t have anything to pretend with.
True…..the only one coming in with a POT OF GOLD IS KANDI & with or without the RHOA….she’ LL be fine….LOL
Messy. Well if NeNe says she didn’t use that woman, she should be able to prove it. I know NeNe is annoying at times, but for some reason I can see someone doing this to get buzz for their business.

People can sue you for anything. All you have to do is go to the courthouse and pay a filing fee. How can she owe the wedding planner more than the entire wedding?
Can’t stand NeNe at times but this sounds like a lie. This Tiffany person needs to sit her a-s all the way down and stay there.
If Nene Leakes owed me $2.5 million dollars for services rendered and had not paid any amount on the balance, she would not have been married. Sounds like Tiffany is a poor business person too!
