Denver Broncos’ Brandon Marshall Headed To Miami

Broncos’ wide receiver makes his way down south

Brandon Marshall’s days as a Denver Bronco have now come to an end.

He will be starting next season with the Miami Dolphins. NFL reps say that Marshall’s contract will consists of a $ 47 million extension with $24 million guarantee. Add in the $2.512 million that he will receive this year, this two-time Pro Bowler will bring in $49.5 million over a five year span.

Who would turn down approximately $9.9 million a year?

Brandon Marshall will be bringing in a sizeable amount of money with this trade. But there was some speculation behind the deal.

Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano felt as though Marshall may not have been the best choice for the team. But Miami’s Executive Vice President of Football Operations Bill Parcells seems to think otherwise. Parcells, who prides himself in taking controversial wide receivers under his wing, supports the decision.

With this trade, the Denver Broncos will have three picks in the first two rounds of the draft this April.
