Charlotte Bobcats go down to Orlando Magic in Game 4 of series
By: Taren Vaughan
The Miami Heat managed not to get swept by the Boston Celtics. But the Charlotte Bobcats were not as fortunate.
The Orlando Magic put an end to the Bobcats playoff run by beating them in Game 4 of the series. The Bobcats put up a good fight and cut the lead down to single digits numerous times throughout the game. The Magic’s 3-point shooting was too much for them though as the margin continued to grow. The Bobcats did do a good job of defending Magic’s center Dwight Howard, holding him to 9.8 points per game. Holding “Superman” down was not enough to win though as Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson combined for 39 of the Magic’s points in Game 4. Great performances from multiple players led the Magic to move on to the second round of the playoffs.
They will face either Atlanta or Milwaukee in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
