The annual BET Awards is set to air June 27 and the network has released the list of nominees. Some of the same people coninue to dominate the nominations every year such as Beyoncce, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys. But some newbies to the industry are also getting their props as well like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Justin Beiber, and B.o.B. So who leads in the nominations?
Jay-Z and wife Beyonce dominate as usual, with Jay-Z racking in more nominations than any of the other artists. Jay-Z has 5 nominations under his belt as an individual artist. His wife Beyonce is close behind her hubby with four nominations. Alicia Keys was also nominated for four awards, while Young Money Heavyweight Drake landed 3. And as far as the madame of the evening, actress and former rapper Queen Latifah was named as the host.
