After being at the top spot for weeks now, Eminem continues to go hard with his musical comeback. And he is now on the verge of putting out another video for a song off his latest album, Recovery. This Thursday night, his new music video with pop singer Rihanna will be airing on MTV. Rihanna has topped the charts herself several times during this year, snatching Beyonce’’s crown a time or two. “Love the Way You Lie” will premiere one hour before the network’s popular reality show Jersey Shore. Even without the highly anticipated video officially airing on TV, the song has continued to climb the Billboard charts with ease.
The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who has directed music videos for other acts including Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and DMX. Transformers’ actress Megan Fox and Lord of The Rings’ actor Dominic Monaghan make a cameo appearance in the video, playing a couple battling domestic violence. Judging by the words in the song, this may be Rihanna’s lyrical outcry in reference to her past abusive relationship with singer Chris Brown. But that has not yet been stated nor confirmed by the singer herself. Eminem’s Recovery sold over 700,000 copies in its first week. And the numbers are still rising as we speak.
