Known as a “cougar”, or better yet “Queen of The Cougars”, Vivica Fox has been notorious for dating men much younger than her with some of them being almost half her age. Her romantic fling with Rapper 50 Cent started out on a high note. But the union between the two went through its rocky spells up until the couple officially called it a quits. Like most rappers, 50 put his thoughts about his ex on wax, taking shots at her in songs. Fox, on the other hand, just went public with her anger about the situation, no covering up her feelings at all about him.
She was so in love that she inked herself up, tattooing the lyrics from an India Arie song on herself:
“After my break-up with 50 Cent, that was a song [India.Arie’s “Strength, Courage & Wisdom”] I listened to almost every day because I needed strength, courage, and wisdom to never let that happen to me again.”
Damn, all that huh Vivica? He must have really put her through some things for her to go there.
As the media always does, they ran with the 50-Vivica relationship even years after it ended, which in turn kept the drama between them alive and well. And it didn’t help that she had gone on several talk shows, discussing the couples “misunderstandings” either. More recently though, she has had much nicer things to say about Curtis, as she calls him, and how they have reconciled since their big fallout. She even appeared in his “Do You Think About Me” music video so it’s safe to say that they are back to being friends again.
Enough of the 50 Cent saga though. Now she has a new man on her arm and appears to be quite serious with him. However, the one thing he does have in common with G-Unit’s head man is their age. Her current boyfriend Omar “Slim” White, a “youthful” 27 year old Atlanta club owner, has popped the big question to Ms. Fox, asking for her hand in marriage. This won’t be the first time that the 46-year old has taken a trip down the aisle as she was briefly married to Christopher “Sixx-Nine” Harvest from 1998 to 2002. It will though be the first time she marries someone that is young enough to be her son. But that didn’t stop Fox before so we really shouldn’t be too surprised that she has yet another “baby” on her arm.
Vivica Fox has had a string of bad luck in the relationship department, especially when it comes to younger men. But from the looks of things, this may be the one for her. Let’s just hope so because even though she is dating men much younger than her, she is continuing to get older and wants to start a family from what she has said. Glad to see that the cougar lifestyle that she has led is finally starting to pay off.
