Evelyn and Chad may be over after the former NFL player head butted her one night during an intense argument over a receipt for a box of condoms, but people are still talking about the former couple, and the speculation on what really happened that night continues to heat up due to Evelyn’s behavior on Basketball Wives. Regardless, Evelyn has kept a pretty low profile up until now, as she finally gave her first interview since the incident and filing for divorce from Chad Johnson. Although Evelyn was said to have originally had her heart set on doing her interview with Good Morning America, in the end, it would be ABC’s Nightline to nab the first exclusive interview with the reality television star.
As we recently reported, Evelyn pretty much covered all her tracks in this interview, and she even answered back to the critics who believe her marriage to Chad was nothing more than a publicity stunt. She also said that the Evelyn on Basketball Wives was nothing like the Evelyn Chad saw at home and married.
She made it clear several times throughout the interview that she still loves Chad, and she regrets that she is connected to incident that she feels ruined his life.
However, critics aren’t buying this interview and a the newly Plain Jane Evelyn Lozada they have never seen on camera before. Regardless, Evelyn says that due to the incident, she doesn’t plan to show her ass on Basketball Wives anymore.

Watched this last night. I can’t really bring myself to feel sorry for this woman. I’m glad she’s trying to improve now, but it shouldn’t have taken something this extreme for her to do it.
Sigh…I just hope she keeps her promise of acting like she has some sense. I guess it took violence to stop violence in her case. :-/

I’m not condoning what happened to her, but I hate how obvious it is that she’s been trained for this interview. From the way she’s dressed, low key jewelery and makeup; it’s just clear that she was told how to look and conduct herself. It really takes away from the authenticity of the interview.
Why do I get the feeling she’ll still be a hood rat on BBW? We all know if she doesn’t, Shaunie will give her the boot. Just sayin.
I still think she got it poppin too. I refuse to believe that someone that acts that violent on TV isn’t in real life. Sorry.
