Tyra Banks’ long running reality show and modeling competition is in some serious trouble. Although the show was originally created to create super models out of inexperienced ones, the show has not managed to churn out any real super models. Besides a few gigs in smaller print campaigns, most of the winners end up being forgotten about. And perhaps this is one of the reasons that the show is struggling in ratings. In an attempt to save what is left of the show, Tyra Banks has ridden the series of the original judging panel. But unfortunately for Tyra, even a new set of judges was not enough to save the show. Ratings are still horrible, and it appears that the show is struggling for bigger reasons that the judging panel. In her last efforts to save the show, it has been said that Banks will add male models to the usual all female modeling competition. Although the show is currently in its 19th cycle, it has been confirmed that the 20th cycle will feature a mix of female and male models.
Tyra says:
“The male model idea has been around for five years. Everybody says, ‘Tyra, you’re the boss’ – but they don’t realize I have a boss. So I’ve had to ask my bosses for five years to change up the show. I think the change has something to do with the 20th anniversary of the show. I think they were ready for a bang and a change. The male and female models will be living in the same house!”
It’s not clear whether or not the male models will be enough to save the show, but according to the latest gossip, if the male model edition does not bring in the ratings, the series could finally get the axe.
Just give it up Tyra. People stopped watching the show because they realized it was pointless. None of the winners have become big time models. End the show and move on to something else.
I’m still shocked that the show lasted this long. It’s a stupid show.

I doubt make models can save this show. But hey, maybe it will make it a little bit more interesting. I think the fate of the show is inevitable though.
I thought the show went off once that big black girl left the show? And that gay dude they had on the show as a judge looked hideous! EWW!
Just take the show off the air.
This should work. As long as those men on the show are easy on the eyes, it will bring in viewers – especially if they play off a romantic angle with the men and women living in the same house.
The only thing that will happen is that people will protest the show once they show two gay men kissing on the show.
