Is a Karrine Steffans Basketball Wives LA deal soon to come and currently in the works? Many gossip blogs are speculating that Karrine Steffans will be added to the cast of Basketball Wives LA. Although the rumor has been circulating for some time now, tabloid giant MTO claimed that sources specifically tipped them to Shaunie’s “genius” plan to revive the show’s dwindling ratings. Shaunie did reveal recently that she would revamp the cast, and as we all know in the insane world of reality television, revamp means somebody is getting fired. Even Laura Govan agreed that she figures that cast firings would be the next step for the franchise, as she ironically protested against having groupies on the show. Regardless, is there any truth to the rumors? And will Karrine Stefans be joining the cast of Basketball Wives LA?
Karrine Steffans is still writing books, giving relationship/sex advice and causing controversy on Twitter with her loyal followers. But she did take a moment in between being controversial to address the rumors. And according to Karrine, she won’t be joining Basketball Wives LA.

We can’t say we ever believed Karrine Steffans would be joining Basketball Wives LA. We’re thinking Shaunie is actually going to listen to the fans of the franchise, and choose women with real ties to athletes, such as more wives and girlfriends. But only time will tell. One thing’s for sure and that is that there will be changes made to the current cast.
Good. They need to add more women to the show who are wives! Show them doing things of substance too. The show is called Basketball Wives but no one is a wife on the show. smh

It really wouldn’t have made any sense to have her on the show anyway. She’s a groupie to rappers, not athletes like the rest of the women they tend to go for.

Exactly! I could care less about who they put on this show at this point. The premise of it is just boring as hell.
