Comedian Katt Williams finds himself in more trouble less than a week after being hit with a lawsuit from an angry fan who wants to be reimbursed for what they labeled as a lack of a performance in Oakland. And prior to Katt’s meltdown in Oakland, the comedian was arrested several times and accused of assaulting several people. One of the accusers claims to be Katt’s assistant, while another is fellow Comedian Faizon Love. For the last few weeks, Katt Williams continues to make headlines for his erratic performances, which usually consist of him ranting on stage and attempting to fight hecklers. This behavior has caused many people to speculate that Katt Williams is on drugs. However, the comedian claims he is not on drugs and not at all fazed by the criticism.

Katt may not care about all the bad press he’s been getting lately, but that doesn’t mean he’s still not finding himself in more trouble. Now it’s being reported that Williams allegedly assaulted Target employees and sent the police on a high speed chase because he refused to stop his 3 wheel and allegedly ran a red light in Sacramento.

According to ABC affiliate News 10 in Sacramento:

Two law enforcement agencies want charges filed against comedian Katt Williams after allegedly assaulting a store security guard and leading officers on a chase Sunday.

These incidents are just the latest in a string of legal trouble for Williams. He was most recently arrested in Oakland on Nov. 15 on suspicion of assault. He’s also being sued because of a meltdown during an Oakland show on Nov. 16.

On Sunday afternoon, Sacramento police received a call about a disturbance at the downtown Hyatt Hotel, on L Street; Williams was not arrested. Williams was in town for a show he did on Friday.

A short time later, around 2:30 p.m., California Highway Patrol said Williams led them on a chase in a 3-wheeled motorcycle through downtown. Officers said Williams refused to stop, ran red lights, drove the wrong way down a street and almost hit five pedestrians. At one point, CHP said Williams took his helmet off and yelled “I’m not going to stop!”

Officers called off the chase for public safety reasons.

News 10 also reports that Katt Williams might be charged for a felony for the incident:

CHP said Williams’ 3-wheeled motorcycle did not have a license plate so they did not initially know who it was registered to. Officers later touched base with Sacramento police and were able to identify him. CHP plans to ask the Sacramento County District Attorney to charge Williams with felony evasion.

Apparently there’s a video of the comedian’s assault on a Target security guard:

Around 7 p.m. Sunday, Williams allegedly assaulted a security guard at the Woodland Target. A video posted to YouTube shows Williams moments after he allegedly hit the employee. After talking to the alleged victim, witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage, Woodland police asked the Yolo County District Attorney to charge Williams with misdemeanor battery.

“I reviewed the video myself and there was a strike to the face,” Sgt. Steve Guthrie said. “I could not tell if it was open-handed or if it was a closed fist, but there was a strike to the individual’s face.”

Guthrie said the alleged victim and comedian, whose legal name is Micah Williams, had some sort of argument, but Williams got physical. It’s unknown what may have been said.

  1. This is some sad stuff. He didn’t even reach the level of stardom he could have reached and he’s already losing it.

  2. I find it strange that people take time to make assumptions & form opinions about a person they’ve never been involved with or met before . Some of speak as if they’re the very drug dealer whose provided his stash for the last 10yrs. Wow! Why hasn’t the question been asked, “where are the mother/mothers of the 5+ children?” Perhaps we should polish our own tainted halos as we brush off our sin singed wings & strive to change the man in the mirror, for the better! #movingforwardNpositivity

    Peace
