Terrell Owens is one athlete who has a lot of talent to show for. Unfortunately for Owens though, his over the top antics on the field and his failure to comply with team rules have caused him to be bounced around all over the place from team to team. And because of that, T.O. never really settled down with a squad as he doesn’t stay with teams for long. At this point, Owens, along with a few other animated ballers out there, is still in search of a job to keep his bills paid. As he currently may not be having any luck finding employment for himself as far as football is concerned, Terrell Owens momentarily crossed over into the reality TV arena with The T.O. Show, a temporary gig that kept money coming in for him and one that resulted in him ending his friendships with his former BFF’s Mo and Kita. However, after the show came to an end, financial troubles began to knock at T.O.’s door again as he was said to be getting very behind on his child support payments, so late in fact that he was potentially going to face jail time over it. Because of his tardiness on child support payments, Terrell Owens has continued to fight off the talk of him being a deadbeat dad. As the opinions about his parenting skills may not change, T.O.’s financial situation is about to see a turn around as he is on the verge of alleviating some of his money problems as he is set to star in a new reality TV show that will air on Fox next year, Stars In Danger: The High Dive.
Here’s the details on the new reality show that T.O. will be apart of:
Based on a long-running German format, STARS IN DANGER: THE HIGH DIVE is the ultimate test for eight celebrities who will step to the edge and take a flying leap or momentous belly flop into diving history. But, first, they must complete a crash-course in diving techniques, overseen by renowned diving coaches. After an intense training period, they will compete in a series of Olympic-style dives, including solo high diving and synchronized diving, from a variety of heights. With the help of Olympic diving medalist and commentator Troy Dumais, viewers will also get a poolside look at the courage and perseverance – as well as the twists, turns and flips – that go into turning a celebrity into an expert – or not so expert – diver.
Terrell Owens will be joined by a number of other celebrities including: JWoww from “Jersey Shore”, Professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, “Baywatch” stars Alexandra Paul and David Chokachi, RHOBH’s stars Kim Richards and Kyle Richards and actor Antonio Sabator Jr.
Stars In Danger: The High Dive is set to air on Fox on January 9th, 2013.
