Wendy Williams might think Beyonce has talks like someone who has a fifth grade education, but Pepsi obviously doesn’t care too much about how big or small Beyonce’s vocabulary is. The beverage giant company has confirmed that they have selected the singer in what appears to be a multimillion dollar endorsement. Although Beyonce and Pepsi have collaborated before in to have the singer endorse the brand, the company has confirmed that they want Beyonce to do more than just the typical commercials.
According to the statement released, Pepsi has confirmed that they have established a multimillion dollar fund to support Beyonce’s chosen creative projects.
Beyonce says:
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
The campaign is slated to coincide with her the marketing campaign of her upcoming album which is set to drop next year, and Pepsi is also sponsoring her half-time show at the 2013 Superbowl on Feb 3. During her performance, a Pepsi commercial featuring the singer will debut, and Beyonce’s face will be on a line of limited edition soda cans. Beyonce currently has shot 5 commercials with the brand in their past deals, but the singer is said to be excited about the new commercial and a chance to have the company back her on her projects. It’s also been confirmed that Pepsi has not limited Beyonce’s projects to have any ties to the company.
As far as the campaign goes, Beyonce and Pepsi are still in the brainstorming phase, but the deal is worth a whopping $50 million
