Tamar Braxton is known for throwing shade in her interviews and even on her Twitter account. Considered one of the most outspoken of the super talented Braxton clan, Tamar seems to always get herself into some kind of controversy because she said something a little too reckless. Tamar’s last beef was with Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Joseline Hernandez, but she’s even had a showdown with Joseline’s cast member K. Michelle. She surely knows how to strike a chord in most people, so it was probably a smart move for Tiny Harris to secure Tamar a spot on her new talk show Tiny Tonight.
Tony Tonight seems to be doing pretty decent in viewership, and Tiny might even have a success on her hands as the show has already been labeled as the “urban” version of popular ABC daytime talk show The View, but just like The View, it’s clear that some of the ladies on Tiny’s “panel” already aren’t too fond of each other. In particular, on last night’s episode, Tamar’s obvious shading of Claudia Jordan was downright awkward at times, and the shade was so thick that we’re still kind of lost as to how the beef even originated.
A discussion over what’s appropriate for a first date ended up getting Tamar all riled up after Claudia suggested that she has no problem dating a man who isn’t rich. That is when rapper Trina claimed she needed to be with a man who owned a private jet and could fly her to a lavish restaurant. Tamar cosigned, and then seconds later began to scream at Claudia that she wasn’t a gold digger and is “rich.” Hilariously, Claudia simply gave her the side eye.
It didn’t end there, as in another segment, Claudia talked about how she found Trey Songz sexy, Tamar then threw the thickest of shade and told Claudia “You need a man girl.” Ouch.
Claudia took to her Twitter account to express that she was shocked at Tamar’s behavior, but plans to keep it classy anyway. She also claims that she feels Tamar is just jealous of her because she’s pretty and she said she didn’t even know who Tamar was before the show. She tweets (read from the bottom up):

LOL I watched it last night. Tamar is so messy. But it was very entertaining. Trina bothers me though. She sounded like a straight up gold digger.
Trina IS a gold digger. She dates athletes and rappers, but always ends up single because she thinks material things and private jets equal being spoiled. Spending money is TOO EASY. Treating a woman right has more to do with someone’s bank account. That is why Trina is damn near 40 and still has no ring, yet gets passed around the music industry. She will never become a wife because she doesn’t what a real man is.

Trina is a very pretty girl, but having standards does not equate to only dating men with money/private jets. I’m amazed that Trina, as old as she is, thinks she is spoiled or has high standards because she wants her man to have money. Nowadays, even dumb dudes and stupid rappers have money. So you can’t tell me having money is hard to do or takes class when idiots like Soulja Boy are doing it. She has a lot to learn.

I don’t think Claudia is boring, she actually represents the opinions of a lot of women out here. I think they put her on the show to be the representation of classy, educated women. And so far, she’s representing us well. Trina sounded stupid to me on several occasions. The whole “you can’t steal a man!” crap was dumb. I can see why Trina still has no man. But she is a female who raps about her v-gina on a constant basis…so I guess her comments on the show make sense.

No, she was HALF right and IGNORANT. When a man is in a relationship or MARRIED, and a woman knows this and still pursues a man, she is not without fault. She will get her karma just like the man will. Trina was talking as if the woman had no responsibility. That is surely not how God sees it, now is it? I’m sorry, Trina is a fool and I’m not surprised she isn’t married and approaching 40. I have no respect for women who believe a woman is not without fault for sleeping with married man. As a married woman, I can tell you that a woman is also at fault for knowingly involving herself with a married man. No she did not take vows, but like Lisa mentioned, even God finds fault with a person who messes with a married person. It’s just wrong, period. Trina did say it as if the woman had absolutely no fault at all, and that’s pretty ignorant for her to say. If my husband cheated, I would find fault with him and his mistress IF she knew he was married. Trina’s talk about a man needing a private jet to be with her also confirmed why she isn’t married. It amazes me how some women equate Claudia’s being classy and tactful as being boring. She is an adult and handled herself in a very dignified manner. I totally agree with her. Tamar seems to have bought into the theory that most black female reality stars have bought into: acting ignorant and disrespecting other women and themseves makes them look better or more successful. As a woman its so sad to see how we bash each other because of our secret insecurities. I applaud Claudia for keeping it classy! On another note, they ALL need to cut out these twitter beefs!! You know what I don’t watch the show but I do see some clipping like this one. I will say that I am shocked to see Claudia being so classy and handled herself in a very dignified manner. My reason for saying this and I mention this before: I’ve heard her several times on the Jamie Foxx (Foxxhole Radio Show) and I mean Claudia was so “RACKET”
I mean she was so embarrassing that I had to turn off the radio. She was loud, rude and CUSSED like a sailor. Every word out her mouth. Not sure if it was because there were more males on the show but geez!
I stop listening to the show. Glad to see she is acting like she has some sense and class.
