Chris Brown may be doing well in his love life now that he has the love of life Rihanna back by his side, however, he’s still facing an uncertain future when it comes to his probation for assaulting her on the night of the Grammys in 2009. It was recently confirmed that the D.A. is claiming that the singer did not perform all of his required community service hours. Allegedly some of the hours were embellished, and the D.A. even claims that Chris was actually on vacation during some of his documented hours. Chris’ fate is still up in the air after he attended a hearing with Rihanna. A court date in April has been set as the judge in the case claims more time is needed to review the evidence handed over by the D.A.
Chris may not see the court again until April, but it’s now been confirmed that the police chief who approved Chris’ hours has resigned. The City of Richmond, Virginia Police Department released a statement on Tuesday announcing that Bryan Norwood has resigned from his position as Chief of Police of the City of Richmond. While he did not specify exactly what caused him to step down from the position, many are speculating it is because of the current situation involving Chris Brown’s probation hours.
As it was recently reported, Chris could be in trouble and facing jail time for allegedly not fulfilling his probation requirement of completing 180 hours of community service. His attorney Mark Geragos denies the allegations and claims Chris did complete all of his required hours.
Oh man. It sucks he lost his job over all of this. Smh.
Damn.
Well he should have done the right thing as the chief. But I think it was more to it than Chris Brown’s situation…apparently he’s been making some bad decision before that.
Crazy! I wonder what this means for Chris…
Nothing. He will get off. Like all celebs do.
I don’t think he will get off. They’ve been trying to lock him up for 4 years now! So if they find out he didn’t do all his hours, they gonna lock him up! Now if he was anyone else, he might would get a pass.
