Reality star and now certified actress NeNe Leakes is clearly about her business. NeNe has surely made the most out of Real Housewives of Atlanta stardom, and she has officially gone Hollywood, and snagged two major roles on Glee and now The New Normal. In between the reality show and the new stint on the hit television show, NeNe has also been making quite a few guest hosting appearances on popular talk shows such as The View and Anderson Cooper. As it’s been recently reported, longtime hosts Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselbeck are said to be leaving the show, and it’s open up two spots on the daytime hit. Interestingly enough, NeNe has been on the show several times, and she’s already expressed that she’d love to add talk show host to her resume.
The other day, she hinted that it may be very well be in the works. She tweets:
As we recently reported, it’s been speculated for a while now that a talk show could happen sooner than later for NeNe Leakes. She’s already expressed an interest and is rumored to be in talks to make it happen, and she’s even turned down a spin-off show to look into her options. Although NeNe is getting focused on the acting thing and looking into getting her own talk show, she did confirm recently that she still has no plans to walk away from Real Housewives of Atlanta since she pegs the series as the reason she’s had so many opportunities open up for her.
I won’t be watching.
*two snaps* Get it NeNe.
Good for her.
Congrats to her if this is true. NeNe has to be the most successful black reality TV star to ever do it.
