New England Patriots’ defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is a man who is about business when it comes to his play on the football field. And like most professional athletes, he is well aware of the trash talking that comes with the territory of playing sports and knows that it can result in your family members’ names getting tossed into the mix when opponents, sometimes teammates, are really trying to get underneath your skin. But when you fire shots at Vince’s wife for no reason on the airwaves for all to hear, the good day that you were having just might turn into a very bad one. Wilfork’s former teammate linebacker Ted Johnson made a recent appearance on Houston’s Sports Radio 610 in Texas. And the host of the show decided to have a little fun with the questions that they asked Ted Johnson. One of the questions Johnson was asked was who he thought had the ugliest wife in the NFL. And Johnson responded:
“This is a big, big man and this guy had his way with the Texans this season. He won’t hear this. Vince Wilfork.”
Well Ted Johnson was wrong as Vince Wilfork heard everything that he said and went right after Johnson for calling his wife ugly:
After apologizes to his fans for the way he responded to Ted Johnson, Vince Wilfork calmed himself just a tad and tweeted a post to Johnson, Vince putting Ted in his place:
After getting ripped by Vince Wilfork for the disrespect, Ted Johnson deactivated his Twitter account, but sent out an apology to Vince and his wife before he did:
“I just made a huge error in judgement and want to apologize to Vince and his wife for comments I made earlier today on a Houston radio show. Vince and his family are outstanding people who I have admired since they arrived in NE.I learned a big lesson today and feel terrible.”
Something tells us Ted Johnson won’t try to come for any member of Vince Wilfork’s family ever again.
Very disrespectful! He should have just said he couldn’t answer the question.

First let me say his wife is beautiful and so are their kids. They all look good together and are very photogenic. His teamate was wrong for saying that. I agree that he shouldn’t have answered that question or said no comment. That is a line that shouldn’t have been crossed.

Okay. I just had to google Ted Johnson and he is a H.A.M. his damn self. So he shouldn’t be talking about nobody’s looks! He’s a hater and wished he had a beautiful woman to call his wife!
SMDH!! Some ignorant people these days must not have had any home training! I was taught that if u did’nt have anything nice to say..then dont say it at all! It seems as though in this day & age people just dont give a damn about other peoples feelings! He’s probably just hatin on the fact that he has a very beautiful family & they seem very happy, content & blessed! His wife is FAR from being ugly & she blessed him with some BEAUTIFUL children!!! Jealousy is one of the ugliest emotions!
