Deion and Pilar Sanders are another former celebrity couple that ended things on very nasty terms. Now that the custody battle is out of the way, Pilar and Deion will now move on to the actual divorce. As we reported recently, Deion is so fed up with Pilar’s talking to the media that he’s asking her to give up his last name, and of course the beef between Pilar and Deion’s new woman Tracey Edmonds are a hot mess, possibly prepping everyone for the divorce which we’re sure won’t be a classy one in court. While it was speculated that Pilar would appeal the child custody decision, it’s now been confirmed that she’s also planning on challenging the pre-nup that was put in place by Deion before the former couple said “I do.” Interestingly enough, it’s being reported that Pilar has a witness who plans to testify that she heard a conversation that revealed allegedly Pastor TD Jakes gave advice to Deion on how to hide his money from Pilar.

The NY Post reports:

Last week, an arbitrator decided to uphold their prenup. Pilar’s legal team is planning to appeal the ruling in the next week or two, and enter evidence from a surprise witness who will allege that Deion acknowledged issues with the prenup and tried to hide funds from his wife.

Pilar’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, told us their witness’ testimony “will be included as part of our motion to appeal. If the court of appeals decides her testimony is material, they will grant a new trial.”

If the prenup holds, Pilar will receive $1 million as part of a settlement, plus child support. But last week, a judge gave Deion primary conservatorship of the children, who will live with him. That means he won’t have to pay child support to Pilar.

Deion’s lawyer insists Pilar’s move for an appeal won’t go anywhere. “It’s closed, and there’s no opportunity for Pilar and her lawyers to present this woman’s testimony,” he said. “The appellate court will only consider evidence that was supported in the case. They can’t hear new evidence.”

  1. Smh. Pilar didn’t play her cards right. Now not only does she not have the kids, but she doesn’t get the money either.

  2. I don’t know who I like less: Pilar or Deion. Both of them are scandalous jokes. The judge needs to throw out the case.
