Michael Jordan may be on his way to a second marriage as it’s been confirmed that he plans to wed his fiance Yvette Prieto in April, but he’s had a little paternity drama to deal with first. As we reported recently, Jordan’s ex Pamela Smith filed a paternity suit against him alleging that the basketball legend fathered her 16-year-old son and needed to pay up. In the paperwork filed, Smith requested child support and she also wanted him to pay for her son’s medical expenses. In addition to those requests, she also asked the judge to give her son the rights to use Jordan as his last name.
Michael responded to the suit and denied that he was the father of the boy and even claimed through his attorney that the paternity for the child had already been established in Pamela’s divorce from her ex husband. According to Jordan’s attorney, she claimed in the divorce paperwork that her ex was the father of her son. Although Pamela then responded with a request that the judge require Michael to take a paternity test, she eventually dismissed the suit. Her lawyer hinted that she realized she’d have a difficult time proving paternity, while Michael’s lawyers slammed Pamela claiming she dismissed the suit because she didn’t have a case and no payoff happened.
Welp, it looks like the paternity drama isn’t over just yet. According to TMZ, Jordan has filed legal docs demanding that Pamela pays his lawyer fees. He’s planning to file a counter-claim and plans to use the claim to cover all of his legal costs and whatever sanctions the judge finds necessary.

Well I think she wasn’t telling the truth anyway. Especially since the ex always claimed the kid was his. The whole situation is messy.

Just because someone had a statement claiming her ex-husband is he kid’s father does not make it true. She was done absolutely dirty by MJ.
If you’re right, then she’s an idiot. Why would you claim your not famous ex husband is the father of your son if his real father is a wealthy retired NBA player?
Well she should pay his lawyer fees after she wasted everyone’s time with a silly paternity suit. I guess she wanted attention. Expect her to get on some reality show soon. This isn’t in vain I’m sure.
It seems like somebody is going to be giving even more oral lesions to women to pay off MJ’s legal fees.
