Kevin Hart Says He Plans on Being More Responsible Post DUI Arrest

Kevin Hart is clearly the hottest comedian on the scene right now, but the star found himself in the middle of another controversy when he was arrested for DUI on Sunday. Just weeks after getting into a heated Twitter beef with fellow comedian Mike Epps, winning big in the divorce settlement with his former wife, and just days after Katt Williams proclaimed that he was eyeing Kevin’s spot; TMZ reported Kevin alerted police while driving because he was speeding, and he didn’t pass the breath test which of course led to his arrest. Kevin did tell the TMZ paps that although he failed the breath test, he did tell the police that was drunk and he didn’t feel the need to try to deny that he shouldn’t have been behind the wheel. The comedian did admit he felt the “resisting arrest” charge was BS because he only asked if he could take off his watch before the police placed the handcuffs on.

Kevin might be hilarious and usually jokes about anything and anyone, however, he took to his Twitter account to make it clear that he understands that drinking and driving is no laughing matter. Kevin also says that for him, the whole situation has been a wake up call and he knows now that he has to be more responsible. The comedian tweets (read from the bottom to top):
