Lil Scrappy is Wanted by Police

Lil Scrappy wanted by the police over urine sample? While Lil’ Scrappy is busy pumping up his fans to tune in to the second season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that starts next Monday, he is facing some issues off camera that might land him in more trouble.  The legal woes have started up again for Lil’ Scrappy as he was arrested back in October of last year for violating his probation a probation violation. He was taken to the Dekalb County jail in Georgia, the cause of Scrappy’s arrest being over him missing a check in date with his probation officer, and was released from jail shortly after his arrest. And now according to TMZ, Scrappy is wanted by the police over controversy surrounding a urine sample that Scrappy was supposed to submit for a test in Georgia as part of his probation that was linked to his “Mary Jane” arrest back in 2008. The problem that was found with Scrappy’s sample was that it was cold, leading law enforcement officials to believe that the sample had been tampered with and they informed Scrappy that he needed to give them a new one.

Apparently Scrappy wasn’t happy with the officers request for more urine, Scrappy reportedly denying doing anything to the initial sample that he provided. Scrappy refused to provide them with another one and left the premises. Scrappy’s refusal led police to issue a warrant for his arrest, claiming that Lil’ Scrappy violated his probation again by not cooperating and following through with their request of him.

Lil’ Scrappy’s lawyer Mawuli Mel Davis informed the website that Scrappy has plans to appear in court on May 16 over the matter and says that ever since Scrappy was released from jail, he has been complying with the conditions of his probation.

Sources have also revealed to TMZ that Scrappy is planning on turning himself in next week and that it will all be caught on VH1 cameras. As things aren’t looking so great for Scrappy legally or financially, his engagement to Erica looks to be no more as she revealed that the two have broken up again.
