Reality television star and actress NeNe Leakes may have quite a bit of family drama going on these days, but when she’s not getting into shading wars with her sisters on Twitter, she’s actually planning her upcoming wedding to ex husband Gregg Leakes. In fact, NeNe just confirmed that Bravo has given her a show that will be centered around the couple’s upcoming nuptials (I Dream of NeNe), and in between her two acting gigs on Glee and The New Normal, she’s been working on getting things together for her big day. As always, when it comes to anything that NeNe does, there will be plenty of gossip and speculation. Popular tabloid The National Enquirer even claimed that her big day might not happen because Gregg is allegedly refusing to sign the prenup NeNe has drawn up. Although neither NeNe nor Gregg have confirmed or denied the report, in a recent interview with USA Today, the reality star confirmed that there will be a prenup and she defends her choice to have one. However, she admits she doesn’t understand why anyone is surprised that she would be so adamant about having one this time around. NeNe says:
“Yeah. I’m definitely going to have a prenup. Yeah.
“I think any business person that is smart would have a prenup and that is why. I don’t even understand why people are talking about me having a prenup. I don’t really understand it. A lot of people have prenups. I don’t know why my situation is any different than anybody else’s.”

I don’t blame her for getting a prenup after Gregg incurred all of that debt the last time.
I like them together. I hope it works out but I can’t say I’m shocked she wants a prenup at this point of her career.

NeNe is a mess. She is really feeling herself these days. Yeah, she has a little money, but to call herself a business person is a bit of a stretch. I still like her though.

It’s amazing how reasonable a prenup sounds when it’s the woman who is protecting her assets. lol!
