Chris Brown might be working on taking the industry by storm with his upcoming album, but he’s also dealing with a storm of trouble when it comes to dealing with his neighbors these days. As we recently reported, numerous of the superstar’s neighbors are heated with Chris because he painted graffiti in front of his house and they claim they are concerned the images will bring down the value of their neighborhood. Although Chris has already been fined for the painting and reportedly asked to remove it from his property, the singer took to his Twitter account to tell his critics that he isn’t removing the graffiti and he’s going to keep painting what he wants to. Interestingly enough, it appears that at least one of Chris’ neighbors isn’t mad about the painting and feels he’s being ganged up on for no reason. The Los Angeles Times reports:
The monsters painted on Chris Brown’s house might scare some children in his Hollywood Hills neighborhood — but not all of them.
“My kids think they’re really cool,” Melissa Harrington said of her 6-year-old twins. “They’re pretty excited about it.”
Harrington, who lives a five-minute walk away from the pop star, called the murals “colorful” and “cute.”
“Look at the paint job on his cars. They’re works of art,” she said. “What style of art are you going to paint on a modern home like that?”
…Harrington noted Brown isn’t the only resident with an unusual paint job.
“Behind our house is a house with pink-and-yellow stripes,” she said. “Chris Brown can see it out of his window if he looks across the canyon. … If you really don’t like the murals, then call in that pink-and-yellow one he has to look at every day.”
“Don’t just persecute the guy,” she said.
Well it’s good to see everyone doesn’t hate him but I still think he’s wrong here.
Me too. And that junk is ugly anyway. It looks like those little squids or whatever Pac-man eats when they turn blue. lol
Great. But he still needs to take the crap down. There’s a difference between painting your whole house a color/color scheme…etc. and painting actual graffiti of monster like characters on your house.
This woman must be Team Breezy.
Yeah…she’s definitely Team Breezy! LOL.
Team Breezy on deck. LOL.
Seriously? I can’t even believe this is still being talked about. He is wrong, got slapped with a fine, and it can’t be compared to a house with stripes. My goodness people are delusional.
I don’t understand what the big deal is. It’s his house.
Agreed, and when you pay that type of money for a house then you should be able to paint what you want on it.
He just needs to remove the graffiti. It’s not something worth fighting over.
A lot of people have to abide by the HOA that run their neighborhoods. I don’t understand why Chris is supposed to be an exception.
Oh Lawd…
This woman needs to have a seat. She’s obviously a fan.
I’m a big fan of Chris but I still think he needs to take the mural down. Even though you own your house, you still have to follow the rules of the neighborhood. He was slapped with a fine because he broke a rule. Wrong is wrong.
Okay how long has these paintings been up and why is it just being brought up? Its not that serious and clearly its his house so he can do what he wants to it! NEXT!!!!!
