Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry new talk show rumors have hit the web. Tamar Braxton’s music career is taking off as her single “Love and War” continues to blaze the charts and Tamera Mowry-Housley is launching a product line targeting pregnant women, new mothers, and babies with her sister Tia. Both Tamar and Tamera star in reality TV shows with their sisters but now they are getting the opportunity to shy away from their shows with their families for a moment and get into the talk show side of things. According to reports, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry-Housley have landed gigs as hosts for new talk show “The Real,” the trial run for the show set to air this summer:
A new panel talk show with female hosts is entering the daytime space. I’ve learned that a syndicated talker hosted by actress-singer Tamera Mowry (Tia & Tamera), singer Tamar Braxton (Braxton Family Values), singer-actress Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah Girls), TV personality Jeannie Mai (How Do I Look?) and comedian Loni Love will be getting a summer trial run on some of the Fox-owned stations. The exact markets and time periods are still being worked out but I hear the show, produced by Telepictures, is eyeing a July 8 launch.Titled The Real, the talker is said to be in the vein of The View and The Talk, but with a younger and entirely ethnic panel. (All five hosts are under 40.)
It is also being reported that “The Real” will be looking to follow right in the footsteps of “Bethenny,” another syndicated talk show by Telepictures that achieved much success last summer on Fox stations prior to its nationwide launch set for this fall.
Another one? How many black versions of The View do we really need? Sheesh.
LOL I was just wondering the same thing. Everyone keeps trying to copy that show. I’d like something unique from it at this point.

They want to do a talk show now when those things are getting cancelled left and right? Good luck with that.

So I guess this means Tiny’s talk show didn’t make it. Oh well. I did like that one.
Huh? This is a weird combination. And besides Tamera and Tamar, who wants to see the other chicks? I’ll pass.
This sounds like a flop waiting to happen. If you aren’t on The View and your name isn’t Wendy Williams, Steve Harvey, or Ellen, you don’t stand a chance. Even Anderson Cooper lost his show. It’s not easy. And no one out of these ladies has the kind of personality to draw people in everyday. IJS.

Please tell me this is a joke. I can only tolerate Tamar in music alone and Tamera is too good to be working with these people.

I don’t know about this. I like Tamera, Tamar is cool but the others get the side eye. We’ll see how this turns out.
Hard for me to imagine Tamera and Tamar together on the same panel. Tia, maybe, but not Tamera. I have only seen maybe 1.5 episodes of the Braxtons before having to tune out because I simply couldn’t take Tamar. Not hating, but she’s just not someone I can listen to for more than a few minutes.
