Jay Z has to feel like he’s on top of the world with yet another platinum album that’s not even two weeks old, not to mention his newly formed sports agency Roc Nation Sports has already managed to sign several high-profile athletes. Regardless, right now when it comes to music, everyone is still talking about “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” and although he had a big first week selling 528k copies, it’s now being speculated he will also have a big second week. According to Billboard, the rapper is projected to grab the number one spot yet again on the Billboard 200 chart. Billboard reports:

Next week, Jay-Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” should become the first rap album in nearly two years to spend two weeks at No. 1.

While it’s too early to tell just how much “Magna Carta” will sell in its second week, industry sources suggest that none of this week’s new releases will pose a threat to Jay-Z.

The new Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, July 24.

While Billboard isn’t quite sure of the numbers Jay Z could pull in the second week of sales, Hit Daily Double is estimating the rapper could sell over 100k:

Surprising exactly nobody, Jay-Z will dominate the album chart for a second week. Of the handful of debuts, meanwhile, Sara Bareilles is decisively in the lead. Here’s how it looks as the weekend looms.

      1. Cosign. Had Kanye made a better album, he’d be selling more. Instead he relied on gimmicks and Kim K. Fail.

  1. Like some of you have already said, this is why Kanye is acting out. He’s mad Jay is beating him in all areas of life and it shows. Has he even said anything about Jay’s album yet? Of course not.
