Lil Scrappy fired from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta? Lil Scrappy managed to make a name for himself on the down south rap scene several years ago, but thanks to a hot and cold industry the rapper was eventually forgotten about when the crunk music hype died down. Scrappy had risen to success with the help of producer Lil John’s aggressive beats but he eventually decided his best way to making a comeback would be giving reality television a shot. So far, Scrappy’s choice to join the explosive cast of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” has paid off considering the show’s popularity has pushed Lil Scrappy back into the spotlight, and if the latest ratings are any indicator the show’s success won’t be slowing down anytime soon since it was officially labeled the most successful cable show of the summer.
Interestingly enough, there are rumors already floating around that Executive Producer Mona Scott Young is ready to move from Lil Scrappy’s storyline and gossip site MediaTakeOut made the claim that he got the axe from the show.
In fact, the site is also claiming that not only did Lil Scrappy get kicked off “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” but the site is also claiming he was replaced by Waka Flocka, his fiancée and his mother Deb Antney. Straight from the A was the first site to claim Waka Flocka would be joining the cast with his fiancée and mom, but MTO is saying Waka is taking Scrappy’s place.
Lil Scrappy is known to take to his Twitter account to address rumors and he told a fan the report suggesting he’s been fired and replaced with Waka Flocka is simply not true:

It’s possible Waka really has joined the cast but Lil Scrappy won’t know for sure until filming begins and the network begins confirming any changes made to the cast.
Damn I was hoping it was true. I’m tired of his storyline with Erica and Momma Dee. LOL.
Cosign. I’m getting bored with this show and all reality shows to be honest.

I guess Mona will focus on Erica and Scrappy’s “relationships” next season. Sigh…
Time for Mona to revamp this cast. I’m tired of all of them. Hell maybe I just need to stop watching reality shows and go back to scripted shows with real plots.
Yeah you should. There are so many great scripted shows out there.
You should try watching Breaking Bad! It’s so good! I promise you won’t give a good damn about any reality shows after you start watching it.

I have a feeling this show is going to start to decline next season. Most reality shows start to fall in the third season anyway.
Yep! I think it will flop next season too. Especially if they keep most of the people on there from season one again.
It’s just a matter of time anyway though. What else can they do with Lil Scrappy and Erica? Their storyline is basically over.
Fired or not, I’m not watching this show anymore.
