Kanye West may stay in the headlines a lot more than most recording artists, but the rapper and baby daddy to Kim Kardashian’s album sales for “Yeezus” haven’t met his expectations despite all the press he gets on a daily basis. Although the album just went gold, it has a long way to go to nab platinum status, meanwhile Kanye’s BFF Jay Z latest album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” is now officially double platinum.

Kanye has been trying to think of ways to boost his album sales and even an interview on Kris Jenner’s daytime talk show and releasing the photo of his daughter North hasn’t done much to bump up sales. Regardless, it’s been reported for the last few months that Kanye was planning to go on tour shortly after his daughter’s birth and it’s been rumored that Kim Kardashian will join him with baby North.

Kanye took to his Twitter account hours ago to confirm that he is indeed getting ready to go on tour and he also confirmed that Kendrick Lamar will be his featured artist. Kanye tweeted the following photo and simply wrote “TOUR”:

  1. Kanye better be careful. His baby mama will probably try to smash Kendrick when he’s not paying attention. She does have a reputation for doing foul sh-t like that while she’s so in love.

  2. Love Kendrick but I don’t think I could stand to hear Kanye scream every track on this last (and terrible) album.
