Post Twitter Rant, Gucci Mane Gets Arrested for Threatening Cops

Gucci Mane arrested again? These past few days have been very eventful for Gucci Mane. The rapper made headlines earlier this week for the infamous Twitter rant he went on where he dragged a slew of big names in the industry and made some very bold claims of sleeping with a number of them. Nearly everyone in the Twittersphere peeped Gucci’s rant and the insults he hurled got him called out by several of the artists he mentioned. Nicki Minaj found Gucci’s claim of sleeping with her hilarious while Ciara found it just plain disgusting for the rapper to suggest she would ever have relations with him.

Rapper Rocko chose to skip the online beefing altogether and went to confront Gucci at his house for talking reckless about him on Twitter. Although Gucci isn’t a stranger to slamming people on Twitter, people were puzzled as to what sparked his latest rant and supposedly it all stems from the rapper getting dropped from his label. Those close to Gucci claim the rapper’s account was hacked and he was not the one who sent out the tweets yet Gucci’s account got mysteriously deleted a few days after the rant became the big talk of several media outlets.

Gucci’s Twitter controversy was not the only thing the rapper has been dealing with as he could possibly face jail time over attacking a fan with a bottle who asked him for a picture. And he now he is in trouble with the law again as TMZ is reporting that the rapper was arrested for possessing a gun and threatening police officers. Gucci Mane was arrested in the early morning hours for allegedly cursing out police officers while possessing “Mary Jane” and a handgun. After one of his friends got the attention of the cops and complained to them about Gucci’s bizarre behavior, the rapper proceeded to use foul language towards the officers, threatening them in the process. Gucci Mane was taken into custody after cops found a handgun and a small amount of “Mary Jane” on him and still remains in the hospital after the episode for precautionary purposes.
