The highly anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez may finally be over as Floyd remains the undefeated champion, but there’s still plenty of ongoing drama surrounding the fight. As we reported recently, the fight was one of the reasons Floyd’s baby mama Josie Harris feels his on and off again girlfriend Shantel Jackson is back in the picture, and Josie took the opportunity to tell the media she feels Shantel is nothing but a no good gold digger after a fashion designer made her 10-year-old daughter a dress that looked identical to Shantel’s. But turns out there was more drama surrounding the fight than the feud between Josie and Shantel as it’s been reported that FOX Sports caught lots of backlash after FOX Sports pundit and middling professional fighter Chael Sonnen decided to make a very offensive joke about Chris Brown and Rihanna as he sat on the panel to discuss the Mayweather fight. He said:
“Look, Floyd needs to keep doing what he’s doing, which is fighting complete tomato cans that we’ve never heard of before. I’ve never seen anybody in the history of America get so rich and so famous off of having complete wimps throwing a punch at their faces. I know what you’re saying. You’re saying, ‘Well, it’s happened before, what about Rihanna?’
“Too soon? Was it too soon?”
It didn’t take too long for FOX Sports to get slammed for the tasteless joke and the network eventually released an official apology over Sonnen’s remarks:
FOX Sports regrets the comments Chael Sonnen made during last night’s edition of FOX Sports Live. They were an inappropriate attempt at humor that Sonnen acknowledges shouldn’t have been made and he apologizes to anyone who may have been offended by his remarks.
People are stupid. Period.

Whether she blew up or not after this incident is not even the point nor whether she has a bad image or not. She WAS indeed a victim of domestic violence and it was put on display for the entire world to see and for someone to make light of that SERIOUS incident is not funny and shows a lack of respect for the women who have gone thru this and still do. Maybe some of you making ignorant comments about her blowing up, stans, and all that other irrelevant mess have never been a victim of domestic violence so you can say dumb stuff like that due to ignorance. Victims of domestic violence take back their abusers. Do research and talk to someone who has been abused before you make comments.

But she wasn’t abused at all. I’m from Virginia and I and many from there know for a fact that Chris and Rihanna were violent to each other! They got in physical fights all the time, in public too in VA. It used to be on the radio stations and everything. Rihanna hit that boy and they fought in the car that night. She lost and she yelled victim, but won’t even admit that she hits him too. She even said in an interview that she broke glass on her brother’s head during an argument. That girl has some serious issues, but she’s the only victim? How? It’s pretty messed up Chris’ whole life was ruined by this and no one seems to care about the many times Rihanna has been “abusive” to him. But I guess it doesn’t matter when a woman hits a man. Look at how Rihanna acts, do you really think she didn’t hit that man that night? The same woman who hit her own fan in the head with a mic? Domestic violence does go both ways, but it’s pretty clear who the aggressor is in a situation based on the degree of bruises someone has on their person, at least that’s the way the cops look at it when they’re called to a domestic dispute and when it’s questionable, BOTH parties go to jail, so yes, it does go both ways!

These comments are hilarious….everyone has formed an opinion on what happened between chris and rihanna but how exactly do we know who threw the first punch? None of us were there so we can only assume based on how we see these two act in the public which is ratchet for both most of the time. Just as people formed opinions about the K Michelle and Memphis thing. Nobody was there but those two so we don’t know. We can only speculate and choose the side we choose to believe. Nobody knows what goes on behind these folks closed doors because people can be one way in public and act another when they’re at home.
