Chris Brown might have caught a big break in his most recent assault case since the charge was reduced to misdemeanor assault, but the possibility of the singer being sent to jail for violating his probation is still very much realistic. According to reports, Chris is facing up to four years in prison if it’s determined that he did violate his probation, but it appears that the R&B signer may have made a move to give him a fighting chance to avoid jail. It’s been confirmed by multiple reports that Chris has checked himself into a rehab center for anger management.
He was reportedly dropped off to the center by his attorney Mark Geragos today in Malibu. TMZ is reporting that the LA County Probation Department is tightening up on it’s investigation on the singer, and they are still trying to decipher if Chris violated probation with his recent assault.
Chris reportedly met with the LA County Probation Department officials today and it’s being speculated that it will be determined that Chris did violate his probation. So a trip to rehab although it is very much needed, it’s also a move that could possibly keep him out of jail once it is determined that he violated probation.
E! News got an official statement from Chris’ camp on the latest development:
“Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
An insider also tells E! News that Chris has allegedly been depending on weed and alcohol to cope at a level that has those close to him concerned.
It’s also been confirmed that both Karrueche and his mom accompanied him to rehab, and Karrueche even posted a photo of them getting kissy just hours before he went to rehab on her Instagram account. She writes in the caption:

We’re assuming that their “breakup ” is officially over. They are even following each other on Twitter again.
It didn’t take long for folks to slam Chris’ check in to rehab and some questioned if it’s all just one big publicity stunt. Karrueche clapped back and said none of it is fake (read tweets from top to bottom):

Karrueche continues to be a doormat. They are meant to be because no other woman is going to put up with Chris.
