And the drama continues for former “Moesha” star Marcus T. Paulk. In August, the actor turned himself in and was arrested after his girlfriend claimed he kicked her in the stomach during a heated argument. She says before he allegedly kicked her, he punched her in the chin and then punched her in the stomach. She also admitted that she busted open his lip after he hit her in the chin. She reportedly suffered from internal injuries and she claimed the whole confrontation went down because he felt she wasn’t paying him enough attention in a nightclub just hours before.
TMZ is reporting that Paulk has officially been charged with domestic violence and battery. The incident occurred last August, but it’s unclear why it took so long for the charges to be filed.
If he gets convicted on both counts, he faces up to four years in jail.
For those of you that may not remember, Marcus played Moesha Mitchell’s (Brandy Norwood) little brother Myles Mitchell on the hit sitcom.
WTH? Terrible.
Myles grew up and became a woman beater. Sad.
These damn child stars. Smh.
Damn Myles.
He should have been more focused on getting acting roles…
Yet another unhealthy relationship.
He should have kept his feet and hands to himself.
If this is true, he needs to be in jail.
You know… I think that our culture is entirely too soft. Mind you… IF what he’s been accused of it true, he needs his a$$ BEAT… I have no problem with 10 to 15 lashes with the cane to get some act right up in this camp. If you have the balls to put your hands on ANYONE then you deserve to have hands put on you. Jail is actually not a good idea because it’s way too many resources being used (court time, feeding, housing, medical etc…) when you could just as easily have the ‘Beating Channel” on TV… whenever it’s proven that you’ve done something stupid like this then you are forced to go on TV in only your underwear tied to a whipping post and beat…. with the cameras trained on your face. Public humiliation and corrective punishment at the same time… Then you’ll think twice about putting your hands on someone.
