With the holiday season coming up, a lot of artists are deciding to take advantage of the shopping season by coming out with holiday albums. As we reported recently, R&B singer Mary J. Blige has opted to drop a Christmas album full of Christmas songs. It now appears K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton are also releasing Christmas albums, and they are sharing some of their new music with fans via social media.
Tamar dropped a new track from her “Winter Loversland” album. In the track, which is entitled “She Can Have You,” Tamar sings about seeing an ex-boyfriend start a family with another woman. Though she imagined she would be the woman her former beau would start a family with, she finds the strength to accept reality. The album will be released on November 11. Check out the track below:
K. Michelle plans to keep the success of her latest album “Rebellious Soul” going with a Christmas album she will give away to fans for free entitled “Rebellious Soul Christmas.” But as fans await the new holiday album, she’s decided to give them a little treat in the form of a brand new song. “He Gets Me” is a song for the lovers, and K. Michelle sings about a man she feels like genuinely loves her and allows her to be herself. While fans will still have to wait for the upcoming Christmas album, many have taken to social media to make it clear that they are loving the new track. Check it out below:
How do you feel about the new songs released by Tamar and K. Michelle?
I love K’s song! And Tamar’s vocals are fire on her song. Good job ladies!
I like both songs.
I really like K. Michelle’s song. It’s very happy. Makes me hopeful. LOL.
Yassss Tamar slayyyy!
I may have to get that K. Michelle joint. It’s nice to hear her sing about being happy…
Tamar’s song is kind of depressing for a Christmas album.
Both songs are very good. These ladies are bringing their A game and these other R&b singers better pay attention. People want real music and great vocals now.
