Confirmed: Idris Elba’s Girlfriend is Pregnant

Idris Elba is getting some Oscar buzz for his portrayal of Nelson Mandela in the upcoming biopic, but the actor has always been known to keep his private life away from the public. However, he did open up to GQ Magazine recently about how devastated he was that one of his exes lied to him about him being the father of her son. Despite that, Idris has reportedly moved on and found love with hair stylist Naiyana Garth, and rumors have been swirling for a while now that the couple is expecting their first child together (Idris has a daughter from a previous marriage). Well now the rumors have been confirmed and Idris’ camp confirms that he is indeed expecting a baby with his girlfriend.

Just days after Idris and Naiyana went public with their romance, the actor’s camp confirms to US Weekly that he is expecting a child with Naiyana.

While they didn’t confirm how far along Naiyana is in her pregnancy, she did tweet some time in October that she was very early in her pregnancy. However, people were waiting for the actor to confirm the news.
