Kanye West has been giving plenty of interviews as of late and complaining about corporations and the fashion industry, but it appears that his rants may be backfiring when it comes to his quest to become the next black billionaire. The rapper recently started a creative agency called DONDA (he named the company after his late mother Donda West), but his meetings with investors have been unsuccessful and it’s all because they feel the rapper is too erratic to do business with.
According to ValleyWag, Kanye has been having meetings with the heads of major companies such as Google, and telling the big wigs he’s the next “Steve Jobs.” However, they are turned off by his rants. A source tells the site:
“I think he’s getting frustrated. People are enjoying meeting him because he’s Kanye and they want to take him around, but then they’re not actually investing. If you see his behavior, it’s so erratic, he’s not focused and kind of all over the place.”
The source also says potential investors are afraid to work with Kanye because they don’t want their company to end up being the subject of one of his future rants.
Kanye is hoping that his new company DONDA can get the funding necessary to become a huge threat to the current fashion industry.
I can’t say I feel bad for him. At the end of the day, it’s business and Kanye is acting like he’s bad for business.
He brought this on himself. Either you’re trying to do business or you hate corporations but it can’t be both.
I don’t blame any of these businesses. Kanye has basically turned on every business he’s ever worked with in the last few days. That’s not a good look.

Oh Adidas will see real quick that they should not have given him the time of day. LOL.
I don’t think Kanye is cut out for becoming a business man. One thing about it is people have to like you enough to want to do business with you. Kanye hasn’t been likable for a good minute.
I wouldn’t invest in him either. For what? So he can just turn around and drag my company during one of his rants at his concerts? No thanks.
Kanye will never be Jay. That’s what all of this is about. Jay is a business man who knows how to handle corporate people and business meetings and Kanye does not. He is too emotional and that’s a red flag to any business.
LOL damn. I’m not surprised tho.
Erratic behavior is bad for business. Makes sense.
And this is why I laugh every time he says he’s the new Steve Jobs. Chile please.

Instead of trying to come for Jay and Beyonce. He should’ve been paying attention to see how he got where he is. Jay’s the consumate businessman, Kanye is just a whiny, wannabe!
