Gucci Mane’s legal woes just keep on coming apparently. Although the rapper has been in jail since September for probation violation, he had yet another court appearance earlier today over gun charges. And if he gets convicted, he will be in jail for a very long time.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Gucci (whose real name is Radric Davis) is facing federal gun possession charges, and he’s been arraigned before a federal judge on two counts of gun possession by a convicted felon.

The 33-year-old Georgia rapper has been accused of displaying two different loaded handguns and acting “erratically” on two different incidents back in September.

If Gucci is convicted on all counts, he will face up to 20 years in federal prison. His money problems will also worsen, as he will also have to pay up to $500,000 in fines if he is convicted.

The rapper’s next federal court hearing is in January.

  1. They are about to send him away for a very long time. He’s a fool and had an opportunity to make something out of himself and chose not to. I don’t feel sorry for him.

  2. And all that time he wasted taking shots at TIP, he should have been calling him to get his lawyer’s contact information because he’s about to do some serious jail time.

  3. Oh wow. I don’t get why rappers still decide to act like fools and end up in jail when they have an opportunity to get away from that lifestyle. Smh.

  4. I typically don’t wish bad for people, but, Gucci actually needs this time away. A close friend of mine was involved in one of those “erratic” incidents and I’ll just say that at this point, Gucci is better off out of these streets until he can pull himself together. I don’t know what crowd he has around him but his behavior is way past due for some serious consequences.
